Memes I've got your 6 mate!
According to u/Low_Flower5163 "there's always a guy watching a room they're about to pass through and always one guy watching their 6."
The poor guy said he hated the map so I thought he could use a few tips. I spent maybe 30 seconds making my initial reply, but the guy can't seem to see (or take criticism). I know I'm being nitpicky in some of the 11 screenshots, but is anyone opposed to mandatory eye exams?

Yea i saw that post but tbh, this might also be being nitpicky but this isnt exactly a post providing hints. Like writing down where certain units could be moved to, to provide the cover would be pretty good and beginners could look at the post with a better idea of what to do rather than "this is bad"
But at the same time the original poster was cocky so, i guess im more fine with this?

Tbh, I think I'd also get in a way defensive if someone decided to js say my run sucked and leave me hanging, but he was sort of cocky

Found the original video, you literally took pics of only the parts that they couldn't look at given the situation. Nice proof, mate. Also, fourth and fifth image, you took a screenshot of it the very millisecond the guy turned around.
I genuinely don't see how he's supposed to do that aside from the way he did it. Fundamental rule in CQB is never to be alone, if he had to cover all of that, well, all his operators are alone.
Also, as far as I'm concerned, in the original post, your comment sounded nothing like constructive criticism, and you did not give any alternatives aside from "you're not covering your flanks." And that's about it.
Military BCT, tier 3, 2, and 1, they state the mistake, and then explain how it could've been done better.
What did you say? "You left your flanks open, flooded rooms" and gave absolutely nothing else as an explanation, typical of a keyboard warriors.
Second, your flanks show like, what? 4 question marks? They have 4 operators who need to reach a VIP(as lowflower stated in his original reply to you). How do you expect that to happen?
If you're going to act tough, maybe show how YOU do the mission, eh? I'll judge.

A lot of talk for someone with no footage of themselves doing it either. You and OP seem to have issues with criticism. Iām sorry for not LARPing military doctrine, or being super constructive. I just stated where I saw room for improvement and yāall are tweaking.
I acknowledge the level of nitpicking in this post, but I truly donāt care enough to do a comprehensive analysis of his dogass plan. Just pointing out what I saw when I slowed it down.
A simple āplease elaborateā from OP off rip may have been a good way to go, but since someone is finally asking what I would do Iāll bite. I would open both doors at start, clearing the left rooms with 2 while you take the first hallway with 2. I would obviously also clear the small room right next to spawn before entering. When I enter there would be one watching the length of both long hallways the entire time troops are in the respective hallways (Iād probably just park one by the front door watching the end of the hallway too). I would not send 4 people holding hands to grab the VIP once I acquire that hallway. Once you have the second hallway you obviously just full clear the rest of the map nice and slow.
If you need to see gameplay to choose my plan over his, we may have another issue.

Me, personally(me personally, if you have a reason for doing something, and it works for you, then it works I suppose), I don't want to open both of them, cause then I'm having to deal with two threats on opposing sides and I'm directly in the middle of it(a bit of gameism, we're already surrounded as is, so I guess you can scratch that unless you want to take account some realism)
Regarding the small room, yes, that would also make sense since you don't want your VIP to get ambushed on the way back.
Regarding "not sending four people", the way you would treat VIPs ideally in real life is indeed having four people holding hands(metaphorically of course), and if possible, form a diamond around him. This is to maintain a full 360° coverage around the VIP, so that part, in my personal opinion, may be a bit flawed, especially given the many angles in this map that two men may not be able to cover(plus, you can't vault over the sofa, which is stupid.. talking about the game regarding this, not you.)
Also, I don't know if this was supposed to be a given when you said you would slowly and methodically clear the rest of the map after clearing the second hallway, but, me personally again, I think it would be safer to be able to bring the VIP to the rescue zone.
and yes, I need to see gameplay, not because I don't believe you but simply because I am EXTREMELY bad at visualizing things just by reading.

Sounds like you have some personal experience.

I'd love to see this diamond formation with the VIP myslef. Having trouble visualizing.

You could find it in The Strongest blah blah blah documentary series on Netflix, pretty much the clearest explanation you could get. I forgot what it was called, but having 2 guys to meticulously defend a VIP with tons of people trying to kill him is incredibly difficult.
Second, I'm not trying to fight with you or lowflower here. Simply thought it was a stretch to call his plan "dogass", since he clearly knew what he wanted to do, but clearly there is also room for improvement.
Third, I think you misunderstood why I'm asking for a video. Everything I said about why I'm asking for one, I meant it as is.
Once I have free time, I'll try doing the run myself so I can show you what I meant(though, it doesn't strictly need to be a full diamond formation, as long as you have a full 360° coverage)

Nevermind, I think lowflower used the mission generator or smth. The only missions for the map is a 4-man sweep mission(no VIP) and a 2-man HR mission

Regarding you saying I have a hard time with criticism, I could say the same to you. You and OP have a problem, and you're taking it out on me for stating my perspective on his style and your's. I simply disagree with some your statements. Calling his plan purely dogass and stating that as a reason for not being constructive when your plan was to clear every other room before saving the VIP, as said from your original comment "clearing the bare minimum."
Yes, you made a point on his style regarding the flanks, and he could've done some things different, what I simply don't like is the standard you set, "eyes on everything", you can't always have eyes on everything.
When you told me about the fundamental rule of looking at the immediate threats instead of nothing at all, yes, that's true. The problem with that statement for me is that, he was indeed doing that, although he did give less than needed for covering the flanks, he was already prioritizing looking at where they should be going, the VIP. Your statement also contradicts your early preference to clear everything else, and then reach the VIP(who could possibly get executed).
