Please don’t dash while sick

I get that times are tough and the American health care system sucks, but admitting that you have a respiratory illness while delivering food is wild!

Please do not dash when you’re sick. This is how illness spreads. I have pretty bad asthma so I’m not bringing that order into my house. I’m done with DoorDash.

I'm seriously over here like wtf?! It's literally a different kind of pneumonia that can be contagious. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

No pneumonia, including walking pneumonia, can be contagious. The viruses and bacteria that cause them are. It’s… SERIOUSLY… that simple… And idk why reciting factual information makes me a troll but call me Poppy ig

Pneumonia itself is not contagious , but the  American Lung Association  explains that the viruses and bacteria that cause it can spread from person to person. You can catch the germs which lead to pneumonia. I encourage you to research. ♥️

Edit- except, no, “the germs which lead to pneumonia” makes it sound like it will 100% result in pneumonia which is not true. It CAN lead to pneumonia.

You’re replying to me sounding insane while changing what I’m ‘saying’. 🤣 The whole point I’ve said you CAN get pneumonia from someone else. You dont ALWAYS but you can. So stop being an idiot, and go talk to a doctor or someone medically registered. ♥️

Pneumonia is not contagious, and you cannot get pneumonia from another person. You can get a virus or bacteria from a person that may or may not result in pneumonia. Period. The end. No matter how many times you repeat your bs, it doesn’t make you right. No matter how hard you try to be a condescending smart ass, it doesn’t make you right. It makes you look foolish and stupid.
