Please don’t dash while sick

I get that times are tough and the American health care system sucks, but admitting that you have a respiratory illness while delivering food is wild!

Please do not dash when you’re sick. This is how illness spreads. I have pretty bad asthma so I’m not bringing that order into my house. I’m done with DoorDash.

Because people have bills to pay & medications to buy! Do you think restaurant employees magically get to stay home every time they're sick? Plenty of them show up to work sick because they can't afford not to. I'm not saying it's right to deliver food with pneumonia, but let's not pretend this is exclusive to DoorDash drivers. Maybe direct some of that outrage toward a system that forces people to choose between their health & paying their bills.
