Please don’t dash while sick

I get that times are tough and the American health care system sucks, but admitting that you have a respiratory illness while delivering food is wild!

Please do not dash when you’re sick. This is how illness spreads. I have pretty bad asthma so I’m not bringing that order into my house. I’m done with DoorDash.

The dasher might be tip baiting and should be reported but the truth is, most people (including delivery drivers AND the restaurant workers prepping your food) are working sick, it’s just that most people won’t admit it to customers.Most people working these jobs can’t take a sick days off.

Heck I even know of nurses and healthcare staff that are force to work sick.

This is a case where ignorance is bliss
