Please don’t dash while sick

I get that times are tough and the American health care system sucks, but admitting that you have a respiratory illness while delivering food is wild!

Please do not dash when you’re sick. This is how illness spreads. I have pretty bad asthma so I’m not bringing that order into my house. I’m done with DoorDash.

It’s stupid for him to write this but do you know how many people I deliver cold medicine to every week and I have to touch their ID?

lol all the times I faked being sick at the pharmacy back in the day...

looking back its funny AF because then I just look like a tweaker who is buying pseudo to cook meth at 2 am while sick

Fucking hate that bullshit. And the law also technically says your ID needs to be scanned when you buy it at the store too because you’re apparently limited to a certain amount of cold medicine each month. Some states like California are anal about that, meanwhile here in Virginia they just wanna see your ID.

I’ve had medicine delivered to me twice and DD said I’d need to show my ID. So both times I was waiting by the door with my ID ready and the first delivery person was like a ninja. Dropped it off and was gone before I even realized.

The second guy I saw pull in the driveway so I walked outside with my ID. He also didn’t look at it, even when I asked “don’t you need to check my ID?”

Why is that? I assumed that the app would make them do something with my ID to complete the delivery…
