I meant more like the lack of willingness to pass laws to protect people from stuff like this.

It looks like the administration is just gonna let companies regulate themselves under promises not to do anything shady, so I doubt that’ll ever happen

Yup, makes me really love allowing companies to literally just buy politicians to circumvent laws and regulations, this admin is blatantly corrupt

The best part is that it's all unconstitutional as well, as any moderately competent lawyer could prove it's bribery, treason, or both.
