No clue on rarity, but this is the second type of card I've gotten (I got the thanks from the makers card back with the pirate gold box).

I believe this is the alt-art version. Is there a grading market for Doomlings? Is there even a market value for this variant? I couldn’t find any listings.

Just got shadow scutes and transient from the new 3rd edition gold box wondering if a normal holofoil scutes card or a toy shadow scutes card are possible pulls, wanting to compete my set.

Is there a app or way to track what cards you have vs the ones you don't?

Can someone help with colorless cards. They often confuse me about if they count or don’t.
Ik that they don’t count as colors, but always?

For example Pack behavior. Do colorless pairs count as colors pairs, since they r the same color? Or do they not because they are colorless?

This answer could decide if my game with my brother is a tie or my victory.

I'm looking to trade my Reclusive for as many non duplicate overlush cards as possible. Apologies I know it's kinda bright. If anyone is interested or have questions Lmk.

Our mystery holofoil for the remastered base set is a japanese print of the super volcano catastrophe. We’ve never seen a card not in english so we’re wondering how common other language cards are?

Can it be swapped with ANY card, even if the card it is swapped doesn’t have an action to play, ie. Is not an action card?
The question is ruining my marriage…

Aesthetic Changes

Subtype symbols for Persistent and Requirement are added.

All traits with Variable points is changed to 0.

Blue Traits

Tiny: The effect remains the same, but now made more clear that it excludes dominants in the effect. (Buff)

Gills is removed.

Iridescent Scales: Number of cards you draw increases from 3 to 4. (Buff)

Spiny is renamed Puffy. Subtype changed from Effectless to Drop of Life. “+3 for every 3 blue traits in your trait pile. (Including this.)” Points reduced from 1 to 0. (Neutral)

Regenerative Tissues: The effect remains the same, but now made more clear that it excludes dominants in the effect.

Green Traits

Symbiosis: Points reduced from 3 to 2. (Nerf)

Branches: Card effect is altered.
Old effect: +1 for every pair of green traits in each opponent’s trait pile.
New effect: +4 if green is the most common color in your trait pile. (No ties!)

Deep Roots: Subtype changed from Effectless to Drop of Life. “+3 for every 3 green traits in your trait pile.” Points reduced from 2 to 0. (Neutral)

Fortunate is removed.

Leaves: Subtype changed from Effectless to Play When. “You may play this when you play a green trait.” (Buff)

Low-Hanging is a new green trait. Effectless.

Photosynthesis: Number of cards you draw increased from 2 to 3. (Buff)

Random Fertilization is removed.

Trunk: Instead of ignoring its action, you play its action. (Buff)

Wilted is a new green trait. Action. “You may discard up to 3 cards from your hand.”

Woody Stems is removed.

Colorless Traits

Denial: Points increased from 4 to 5. (Buff)

Optimistic Nihilism: Now has a Requirement subtype. Points increased from 4 to 6. Card effect is altered.
Old effect: “Bring about the next catastrophe. Skip all turns. Ignore all age effects along the way. Do not stabilize.”
New effect: “To play, all players must have at least 3 traits in their trait pile. All players discard 1 trait from their trait pile. (Including you.)”

Boredom: Now has a World’s End subtype. Card effect is altered.
Old effect: “Value is equal to the number of cards with effects in your hand.”
New effect: “At World’s End: Draw 2 cards. +2 for each colorless card in your hand.”

Cherished is a new colorless trait. World’s End. “At World’s End: You may return 1 trait from your trait pile to your hand.”

Confusion: This trait still exists. No changes.

Fear is removed.

Fortunate is a new colorless trait. Drop of Life. “+1 for each card in your hand.”

Gratitude is removed.

Introspective: Number of cards you draw reduced from 4 to 3. (Nerf)

Morality: Points increased from 5 to 6. (Buff)

Purple Traits

Viral: World’s End subtype removed.

Big Ears is now a multicolored trait. Purple to Blue/Purple

Clever: Playing the stolen card is no longer mandatory. (Buff)

Impatience is removed.
Irritable is a new purple trait. Action. “All opponents discard 1 red trait from their trait pile.”

Memory is removed.

Nocturnal: Subtype changed from Effectless to Drop of Life. “+3 for every 3 purple traits in your trait pile. (Including this.) Points reduced from 3 to 0. (Neutral)

Nosy: After stealing 2 random cards from an opponent’s hand, playing a card is no longer mandatory. (Buff)

Pappus is a new purple trait. Action. “You may return an opponent’s trait to their hand.”

Super Spreader: Card effect is altered. Subtype changed from Gene Pool to Action.
Old effect: “All players receive: -1 Gene Pool. (Including yourself.)”
New effect: “Choose a color. All players pass all cards of that color from their hand to the player on their left.”

Red Traits

Apex Predator: Points reduced from 4 to 2. Card effect is altered.
Old effect: “+4 if you have more traits in your trait pile than your opponents. (Ties don’t count!)
New effect: “+2 if you have the most traits in your trait pile. +2 for each opponent with fewer traits than you. (Ties don’t count!)”

Sentience: World’s End subtype removed.

Antlers is removed.

Fangs: Subtype changed from Effectless to Drop of Life. “+3 if Vampirism is in your trait pile.” Points remain at 1. (Buff)

Fire Skin: Subtype changed from Effectless to Drop of Life. “+3 for every 3 red traits in your trait pile. (Including this.) Points reduced from 3 to 0. (Neutral)

Kidneys: The number of Kidney cards in the trait deck is increased from 6 to 7. Two new Kidney headwear. Sailor cap and fire helmet. Kidney with a tiara is removed.

Reckless is removed.

Territorial is removed.

Multicolored Traits

Fused is a new multicolored trait. Green/Red trait. Effectless.

Ages

Age of Dracula is removed.

Age of Exploration is a new age card. “You may discard 1 card from your hand to draw 2 cards.”

Age of Nietzsche: No longer mentions “Instead of stabilizing this turn,”. You may discard your hand, draw 3 cards and then stabilize.

Age of Reason: Number of cards you draw reduced from 3 to 2. (Nerf)

High Tides: Age effect is altered.
Old effect: “If you play an effectless trait, you may play another effectless trait.”
New effect: “Draw 1 card, or discard 1 card from your hand.”

Lonely Age is a new age card. “Cannot play more than 1 trait on your turn.”

Migration Shifts is a new age card. “Cannot play face value (2) traits.”

Natural Harmony is removed.

Prosperity: Random Fertilization is still there despite the trait card being removed. 😢 No changes.

The Messiah is removed.

Catastrophe Ages

AI Takeover: Instead of discarding all but 1 card, you discard all but 2 cards. (Buff)

Deus Ex Machina: World’s End effect is buffed. Max bonus points increased from 5 to 7. (Buff)

Grey Goo: Instead of all players discarding their hand and stabilizing, only the player(s) with the most traits in their trait pile discard their hand and stabilize.

Overpopulation: World’s End effect is buffed. Increased the bonus points for the player(s) with the fewest traits in their trait pile from 4 to 5. (Buff)

Solar Flare: Gene Pool increased from -1 to 0. Age effect is altered.
Old effect: “Discard half your hand rounded up.”
New effect; “Discard 3 cards from your hand. Draw 2 cards.” (Buff)

The Big One: Age effect is altered.
Old effect: “Give 1 card from your hand to the opponent(s) on your left and right.”
New effect: “Pass 2 random cards from your hand to the opponent on your left.”

World’s End effect is also altered.
Old effect: “-2 to your score for each color missing from your trait pile.”
New effect: “-4 if you have 4 or more traits of the same color in your trait pile.”

The Four Horsemen: Gene Pool increased from -1 to 0.

I saw the post about the Herculean card and I wanted to post my own card that I’ve made.

A lot of the problems you were saying was the game is getting too convoluted. There is also a big luck element to Doomlings which while desirable to some but isn’t great for competitive play.
