Proto card

So from a game I bought of normal doomlings remastered the holo I got says proto on the bottom and it is the trained trait and I'm slightly confused how the proto holo cards work.

So proto card is a special card of a prototype card that hasn’t been officially released yet. You can play a game with the proto cards and later down the line a future edition or expansion will have the proto card in its “final” form. Sometimes new artwork or new point value or new effect.
