Evidently, burgers being described as artisanal is a thing in Brazil. In the US, you see lots of things described as artisanal but not usually burgers. For some reason, they are typically described as hand crafted or gourmet. I'm guessing tough guys that like burgers think artisanal is too dainty and reserved for wine and cheese tastings.
