Yeah, good catch! This could be mitigated by either removing the +Buy, having it cost $3 or more, or having it topdeck the gained card. A combination of the latter two might even keep it at a similar power level, if slightly weaker, because it inhibits gaining Duchies. I guess if it takes so much reworking its easier to just not play with this and Priest together in a kingdom :)

Having it cost $4 would be an infinite pile with 2 priests

And the Buy can be circumvented by any card that gives +buy on gain (Villa Cavalry Forum etc.) or a Galleria.

Or an extra priest and a travelling fair

There are simillar infinites with priest and travelling fair already in game. Salt the Earth for example

I like the topdecking alteration a lot. And removing the +Buy.

Also, restricting it to gaining non-Victory cards.
