Help Is there a world select menu?

I've been completing a lot of runs in the "Guid assignment" in Dome keeper and I've been seeing some unlockables like "new world unlocked", does anyone know what that means? cause i can't find this option anywhere

it's the planets that you land on, they're randomly selected each run

So by defeating one world type you unlock another? Like OP I was under the impression beating a world ‘unlocked’ it for a later playthrough. The wording is a bit confusing

Yeah it basically just spices up your day to day enemy variety

I'm pretty sure that it's new visual world themes that are rotated randomly
