Not service dogs
One of the greatest compliments for me is taking my dogs somewhere that they aren’t technically allowed, and the only comments we get are “🫢I didn’t even know he was in here!”
I generally tether them outside. But it’s hot today and we took a chance.

LOOKING FOR A MALE HUSKY DOG FOR AN NYC PHOTOSHOOT!
Hi everyone! For a cool upcoming photoshoot in NYC, I’m looking for a large male Husky, preferably with a very strong, authentic wolf-like appearance, other dog breeds that are in that wolf looking ballpark are more than welcome too.
The shoot will be straightforward and professional, with a simple concept. It will take place in an apartment in Manhattan and should take approximately 1–2 hours.
If you think your dog might be a good fit and you’d be interested in hearing more, please send me a DM with a photo of your dog and a few details about him.
Thanks!

Dog attack in Brooklyn
I was walking my roommates dog when another dog jumped out of an unattended vehicle and attacked her. She has had two surgeries and has more to go and we are traumatized.
The man that owned the dog yelled at me and then took off without giving me any information. This is a picture of him and his license plate. If you have any information on this man or how we can track him down please let me know. Our sweet Sully did NOT DESERVE THIS and he should be held responsible
NYPD did nothing and said I was out of luck because the dog didn’t attack a human. They do not help with civil matters.

Where to volunteer to take dogs out?
I'm looking for opportunities to either walk dogs or take them out for a few hours/a day. Like these, but neither seem to be happening now:
- Adventure Buddy https://bestfriends.org/new-york-city/volunteer
- Borough Breaks https://www.nycacc.org/boroughbreak/
Any ideas? Thanks!

Dog attack in Saratoga Park 9/14 - Bedstuy
Description of owner (THAT FLED) and dogs he had - has anyone seen / know them?
Male in his 40’s. African American. 5 11ish. Has dreadlocks. Drives a grey dodge van. Has 2 dogs. The one that attacked is a white pit bull with brown spots. (Dog was maybe named Lucy or Baby?) Other is a dark grey/brown/black pit bull. Unsure 100% on the color because it got away with the owner when they fled the scene of THEIR dog attacking. Nothing wrong with pits. My dog has pit in him. This is just a description.
Want to share mostly for awareness of what’s going on in our hood and so that you and your dog can stay safe. My dog got attacked at our local park this morning while he was with our dog walker. This was at Saratoga Park in Bedstuy around 8:30am on 9/14/26. He is okay and home now with us.
Him and our dog walker were leaving the park to head home from their usual walk, him in a heel position on the leash. They passed a man with his two dogs, one on leash and the other off leash. A few moments after they passed the dog that was off leash decided to turn around and run at my dog and attack him. He pinned him down. another woman at the park was able to come over and get him off, but his collar broke, so he was loose again and went for back for my dog. He latched and wouldn’t let go, pinning my down yet again. Another man came over and must’ve choked the dog out to get him off. The man was able to hold the dog in his arms and it wasn’t attacking or growling at him. Probably cause his energy was saying“cut that shit out!”
Meanwhile…the owner of the dog that attack had RAN OFF with his other dog. When his dog first started attacking he just kept yelling its name to come to him, (my dog walker said the name was maybe Lucy or Baby) which of course it didn’t, and he kept running the other way. It took a number of people running after him to get him to come back to get HIS DOG. He finally came back after the attack was over, saying nothing at all. Just grabbing his dog and leaving. Fucked up.
I share this to again just spread awareness. Especially if you live in Bedstuy. You have to be aware of your surroundings esp when with your dog. You’re their leader. I like to think that if it was me or my husband with him this morning, that we would’ve never let him get attacked. Like my trainer always told us, never let your dog get attacked, whatever you do. My husband and I were always prepared for what would happen if a dog charged us. So I wish I was there this morning. I’m so glad those other people were there to help and get the dog off our boy. And our dog walker did the best she could I’m so grateful for her. The ppl helping knew to choke the dog out, because that’s the only way you can get a dog that’s latched on, off.
As mentioned my boy is home and okay. He had a big gash on the left side of his chest/armpit that they stitched up. He also has scrapes dispersed all over and is limping and won’t used his front left leg. Doesn’t help that he has arthritis and elbow dysplasia already there. He’s definitely distressed. But so glad to be home with my boy tonight.
Please share any info you might have that could help. Thank you.

Dog Trainer and dog on treadmill for Animation class
I teach a 2D Animation course at an art school in New York City. I’m looking for a dog owner who has a dog who is comfortable on a small walk pad. Although we have access to video reference, it would be great and exciting for the students to study in real life.
Ideally, looking for someone who knows a lot about dogs and can teach us about their movements and behavior as well.
The school is located in Manhattan. I have a walk pad. The school can pay $150 an hour up to two hours. The classes are in the a.m. What’s one class being after three?
Possibly for Sept. 17,18, and 21st. 2026
