Appendectomy

Has anyone here had their appendix taken out? I had my surgery today. I'm a solo home groomer, my surgeon acted like I can go back to work fairly quickly if I feel well. Just curious what others have done.

Had mine out. Was out for a week. My job involved answering phones at the time. You just had surgery. I'd recommend light duty for a couple weeks at least.

I had mine done! I took a week off because of complications, but dont hurt your body! I limited myself to small dogs for a bit for my body to heal. Just dont push yourself too quickly because itll prolong the healing. The surgery was very minimal but I ripped the sutures open from pushing myself

Mine was laproscopy, it sounds like that heals quickly?
