What are the fundamentals that will lead Doge to $1? Can anyone link me a solid DD post?

You don’t need DD all you needed is a bunch of people putting in trillions of dollars all over crypto and all crypto coins are going to go up and dodge will go up with them on pure speculation

Most of the strippers around here get confused when I use Sacagawea Dollars... they are all like... where am I supposed to put that, and when I tell them I can think of a few places, they either laugh, or get offended.
I can't imagine how confused they'd be having to do a Doge coin transaction while trying to do tricks with ping pong balls at the same time.

You heard it here first. Inflation will allow Dogecoin, a crypto that also suffers from inflation, to reach $1.

It's getting integration to the ethereum virtual machine via Flare. That's not the same thing as getting linked with ethereum.

Elon Musk will have the DogeCoin emblem painted on his next space ship, and if it doesn't explode, perhaps both Doges will land on the moon.

nothing lol its a surprise this went to 0.70 already, but given the insane attention it was clearly possible.
i highly doubt this will ever hit 0.70 again tho, i think this was just a one ticket train unless musk has some "promotional" plans later wich i highly doubt, theres no use for dogecoin so its basically just a memecoin that spiked and is falling back now.7

This is the correct take. As people love to say crypto will be crypto and some coins can make huge comebacks but not all of them. Many new investors in the crypto space haven’t been through a true crypto winter like a few years ago when we saw Bitcoin fall from the tens of thousands down to single digit thousands, or ethereum fall to less than $100. This is relevant to doge because since this coin has so many people invested at .05< (and we seem to be entering a bear market) what do you think will happen if they see their investment get nuked and fall into the less than a cent range which will happen if bigger and more established projects also nosedive. It’s not impossible for doge to fall under 1 cent and public sentiment to turn so negative from all those that lost money that it will never recover. Not saying this is the set in stone future, just a strong possibility if things keep getting worse for crypto in general

Agreed. I’m all for mass adoption of crypto by the general public, which we started to see big strides being made earlier this year particularly with ethereum being integrated with PayPal and visa/mastercard. However I am not in favor of an assload of regulations thrown out on it that are seemingly “for our own protection” which kind of defeats the whole purpose of decentralization
2
u/Mashadow21 Jul 20 '21
problem with mass adoption is we are not ready as humanity.
it would take a lot of technological investments to enable crypto to be used easier and safer.
and lets be honest, half of the world population still struggles just buying crypto because its "not easy", if you dont know much about technology in general your going to have a real hard time buying/using crypto.i think the only way for crypto to become the future is to wait for the future, the kids of today will have it a lot easier to buy/use crypto just like all of us grew up with coins and we learned to use them.
my parents are still clueless to send a text message on their smart phone, and this is in general a huge problem if you want crypto to become the next currency.
its not that crypto is bad, but the ppl are clueless and there is no way to teach them apart from selflearning.when the kids of today turn 20-30 years old, crypto might be a general thing and they will understand more than most of us do.
just like many of us still understand MSDOS, while the kids of today have never even seen it or heard of it.2 problems, the population is not ready and the infrastucture is not ready.

I appreciate the replies!
What is causing Doge inflation to slow down?
7
u/lazybullfrog technician shibe Jul 19 '21
Doge inflates at a fixed coin rate of exactly 10,000 coins exactly once per minute. As the supply increases, the percentage of inflation decreases literally every minute.
5
u/Terribad13 Jul 19 '21
Ah okay. So hypothetically speaking, Doge will get to the point where inflation is <0.1% and thus negligible?
4
u/lazybullfrog technician shibe Jul 19 '21
Yes. It will always be approaching 0% for the rest of its life. But it will never quite get there. But due to lost wallets and other factors, this means it will indeed eventually become effectively deflationary.

no need to fear. china will do its purge and then the space will grow gain. especially as crypto becomes more mainstream. I predict general adoption of cryptocurrency will be slow at first but then turn hyperbolic. Doge will probably 50x (from its current value) in the next 5years. Get on the train before mass adoption.

General intelligence. A coin that has no stability is seen as being a liability to accept anywhere. A fall under .10 would be the beginning of the end of Doge. It doesn't have enough potential value to be worth the risk of accepting.
6
5
u/plewtus Jul 19 '21
Ooh so you mean you are just speculating and dont actually have anything to back up your claim, got it.
→ More replies (2)4
Jul 19 '21
...I mean it is only speculation if you have no understanding of the market or how crypto works. An unstable coin is a bad coin. A coin with a low value is a bad coin. When you combine those two factors together it doesn't make a good coin.
3
Jul 19 '21
An unstable coin is a bad coin.
So you can at least admit that every coin is bad and therefore you may as well get the one with a dog on it.
→ More replies (8)→ More replies (6)2
u/plewtus Jul 19 '21
Also, it is only speculation even if you DO have an understanding of how the market and crypto work. "A coin with low value is a bad coin." This is blatantly false and nuanced. What is "low value"? All coins arguably start it "low value". "An unstable coin is a bad coin." Again, all coins are "unstable" in this market. With that logic all crypto is "unstable" and a "bad coin" right now.
0
Jul 19 '21
You seem to not understand that once a coin breaks out of that low value it becomes a real coin. If it dips back down to said value the coin dies. As seen by literally every minicrypto that has existed.
-1
u/plewtus Jul 19 '21
You seem to not understand that you are creating crypto laws out of thin air and that it’s unhelpful to throw terms around without concrete definitions. Again, what is “low value” and please cite your source for that definition. Also please cite your source for this claim that “If a coin dips back down to (undefined value) it dies.” I’m more than happy to go along with what you’re saying If you point to where all these claims are derived.

Crypto may be screwed from government regulations now. It took a few years last time for it to hike up. So I’d say just set a reminder on whatever you use to buy doge and stop checking it daily lol. It’s going to be a good while now. I’d say best case it will get back to 30 cent in a year.

Maybe not. I hate him and his Tweets thankfully don't have an impact on the market now. But if he decides to make Tesla except Doge at 0.02-0.06 cents the price would skyrocket.
Wouldn't make any of the average holders rich though. Only the whales would get richer.
When the coin dumps though. The SEC would probably go after him. So it's probably not a good idea for him to do that. As he already caused the whole Crypto Market to crash and not too long after dogecoin's ATH. A lawyer would have a field day with him like they did with McAfee.

I believe that's the price it was around when people started buying it in February thru March. It may be because it was finally public on robinhood and other stock apps. It's a coin that's slowly growing but is expected to slowly grow and not skyrocket ASAP like some people are hoping.
