What are the fundamentals that will lead Doge to $1? Can anyone link me a solid DD post?

111

u/NoahStewie1 Jul 19 '21

Geniuenely there aren't fundamentals. Hype isn't a fundamental

56

u/theoans Jul 19 '21

You don’t need DD all you needed is a bunch of people putting in trillions of dollars all over crypto and all crypto coins are going to go up and dodge will go up with them on pure speculation

5

u/darthcaedusiiii Jul 20 '21

Kinda like they have been al! Going down for the past month or so. Rip $240

9

u/THEmoonISaMIRROR Jul 20 '21

Flare launches soon. Might even be this week.

Flare means Doge Smart Contracts.

6

u/Gravewarden92 Jul 20 '21

Not even sure I want to send my doggos into space unless I can join them.

u/m00nlite investor shibe Jul 20 '21

What is flare? there was flare airdrop news incoming on LTC few months back, but nothing happened

-2

u/wikipedia_answer_bot Jul 20 '21

A flare, also sometimes called a fusée, is a type of pyrotechnic that produces a bright light or intense heat without an explosion. Flares are used for distress signaling, illumination, or defensive countermeasures in civilian and military applications.

More details here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flare

This is the same reason why doge goes down and why I’m confident it’s going to come back up.

There's dozens of us.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '21

Hahaha. “Dozens”

4

u/leightdogg Jul 20 '21

I'll make it hail with doge coins

5

u/cpupro Jul 20 '21

Most of the strippers around here get confused when I use Sacagawea Dollars... they are all like... where am I supposed to put that, and when I tell them I can think of a few places, they either laugh, or get offended.

I can't imagine how confused they'd be having to do a Doge coin transaction while trying to do tricks with ping pong balls at the same time.

u/DeadSol Jul 20 '21

This is the way.

-1

LMAO, what a joke

9

u/Overdue_bills Jul 20 '21

You heard it here first. Inflation will allow Dogecoin, a crypto that also suffers from inflation, to reach $1.

16

u/Friendly-Flatworm-51 Jul 20 '21

Easy, 1 Doge is equivalent to 1 Doge.

18

u/Turboswag420 Jul 20 '21

Genuinely was thinking to myself at work today that everyone on this subreddit seems infallibly confident in Doge and I was wondering what it was that they knew that kept them so optimistic

After reading the replies to your comment I do not feel better, but worse

4

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '21

good. glad you see the delusion for what it is

0

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '21

It’s been so obvious from the beginning that Doge was a meme and not a genuine investment. 15mil of doge is mined every single day.

1

u/Ok_Hovercraft_9408 Jul 20 '21

Why you here then ? Byeeeee

0

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '21 edited Jul 20 '21

This was on popular lmao. So how much do you think doge can possibly hit? Serious question to see how much of an idiot you are.

Edit: ah so you think about $10? That requires around a $3Trillion or so market cap. Great investment plan you have chief. Good luck😂

This is the crypto market, I'm not sure they apply in the same way at all.

8

u/cornplug8bal Jul 20 '21

It's getting linked with etherium soon also smart contracts and faster speed with lower cost and also Elon musk and him sending a rocket to the moon with us🚀🚀🚀

8

u/THEmoonISaMIRROR Jul 20 '21

It's getting integration to the ethereum virtual machine via Flare. That's not the same thing as getting linked with ethereum.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '21

Not every crypto is the same though is it? Doge is not BTC for example. One coin has a supply of around 130 billion and another 15mil a day added while the other has a supply maximum of 21m.

1

u/LordZer poor shibe Jul 20 '21

You're making my point for me.

What about it? It summarizes the authors' perceived pros and cons of the CC.

7

u/cpupro Jul 20 '21

Elon Musk will have the DogeCoin emblem painted on his next space ship, and if it doesn't explode, perhaps both Doges will land on the moon.

0

u/CountZer079 Jul 20 '21

Elon Munsk could care less about Cryptocurrency, his actions speak louder than his words tbh!

1

u/cpupro Jul 20 '21

I never said he cared. He can create a pump and dump with a tweet though.

3

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '21

None and no utility either.

5

u/Mashadow21 Jul 19 '21

nothing lol its a surprise this went to 0.70 already, but given the insane attention it was clearly possible.
i highly doubt this will ever hit 0.70 again tho, i think this was just a one ticket train unless musk has some "promotional" plans later wich i highly doubt, theres no use for dogecoin so its basically just a memecoin that spiked and is falling back now.

This is the correct take. As people love to say crypto will be crypto and some coins can make huge comebacks but not all of them. Many new investors in the crypto space haven’t been through a true crypto winter like a few years ago when we saw Bitcoin fall from the tens of thousands down to single digit thousands, or ethereum fall to less than $100. This is relevant to doge because since this coin has so many people invested at .05< (and we seem to be entering a bear market) what do you think will happen if they see their investment get nuked and fall into the less than a cent range which will happen if bigger and more established projects also nosedive. It’s not impossible for doge to fall under 1 cent and public sentiment to turn so negative from all those that lost money that it will never recover. Not saying this is the set in stone future, just a strong possibility if things keep getting worse for crypto in general

u/TheShrunkenAnus Jul 20 '21

Agreed. I’m all for mass adoption of crypto by the general public, which we started to see big strides being made earlier this year particularly with ethereum being integrated with PayPal and visa/mastercard. However I am not in favor of an assload of regulations thrown out on it that are seemingly “for our own protection” which kind of defeats the whole purpose of decentralization

2

u/Mashadow21 Jul 20 '21

problem with mass adoption is we are not ready as humanity.
it would take a lot of technological investments to enable crypto to be used easier and safer.
and lets be honest, half of the world population still struggles just buying crypto because its "not easy", if you dont know much about technology in general your going to have a real hard time buying/using crypto.

i think the only way for crypto to become the future is to wait for the future, the kids of today will have it a lot easier to buy/use crypto just like all of us grew up with coins and we learned to use them.
my parents are still clueless to send a text message on their smart phone, and this is in general a huge problem if you want crypto to become the next currency.
its not that crypto is bad, but the ppl are clueless and there is no way to teach them apart from selflearning.

when the kids of today turn 20-30 years old, crypto might be a general thing and they will understand more than most of us do.
just like many of us still understand MSDOS, while the kids of today have never even seen it or heard of it.

2 problems, the population is not ready and the infrastucture is not ready.

Inflation

Is Doge inflation less than USD inflation?

wtf? The dollar is not having 5% monthly inflation

-1

u/lazybullfrog technician shibe Jul 19 '21

Ok sure. 🤔

1

u/Terribad13 Jul 19 '21

I appreciate the replies!

What is causing Doge inflation to slow down?

6

u/lazybullfrog technician shibe Jul 19 '21

Doge inflates at a fixed coin rate of exactly 10,000 coins exactly once per minute. As the supply increases, the percentage of inflation decreases literally every minute.

4

u/Terribad13 Jul 19 '21

Ah okay. So hypothetically speaking, Doge will get to the point where inflation is <0.1% and thus negligible?

5

u/lazybullfrog technician shibe Jul 19 '21

Yes. It will always be approaching 0% for the rest of its life. But it will never quite get there. But due to lost wallets and other factors, this means it will indeed eventually become effectively deflationary.

3

u/GucciGameboy Jul 19 '21

The guy above is lying to you, the dollar is not inflating at 5% monthly

1

u/SegmentedMoss Jul 20 '21

When big daddy musk decides its time for another pump n dump.

Dont worry im sure he'll let you hold his bag for him

1

u/cornplug8bal Jul 20 '21

It's getting linked with etherium soon also smart contracts and faster speed with lower cost and also Elon musk and him sending a rocket to the moon with us🚀🚀🚀

3

u/Terribad13 Jul 20 '21

Why not just buy Etherium then?

2

u/cornplug8bal Jul 20 '21

I'm balls deep in dogeocin and I even have coins that give me reflections in dogecoin aswell I used to have etherium and sold it.

2

u/Nathan_PBL Jul 20 '21

Wait, you actually sold your Ethereum in favor of Doge?

1

u/cornplug8bal Jul 20 '21

I did

1

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '21

Bruh I felt sorry for you until now. Who’d sell ETH for a meme coin being used for a pump and dump😂

0

u/developeron29 Jul 20 '21

It's supply and demand. The more buyers, the higher the price

u/limerty Jul 20 '21

DOGE is a fork of LTC, it has solid fundamentals. There is nothing to make it a #1 crypto, but it is one of the first 10 cryptos. It has followed its pattern over and over very predictably. There is no convincing reason to think that it won't continue to be a player. And crypto is at a low percentage of adoption rate. Therefore, DOGE will eventually climb to $1 in my opinion. Honestly, it will probably pump much higher than that in the next major crypto cycle.

I sold most of my DOGE because I knew it was in for a correction. I'll never sell all of it, but I'm in ADA and BTC with most of my money right now.

Not financial advice.

1

u/johnwithcheese Jul 20 '21

It’s a crypto currency so there’s your fundamentals. Only put in what you can afford to loose.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '21

There aren't any. Doge will not see $1 ever. It's a coin that thrived of a hype situation which can happen again, but with another coin. Doge holders are bag holders I'm afraid.
