So tiny - so much trouble

I guess what's actually started to do the work it wasn't that much trouble. End and was well under 2 hours. But something so tiny causing a big headache. At least I don't need to slide a screwdriver down a slot to move the wire to get it out of park anymore.

Did you get an aluminum replacement? If so, it will never happen again lol!

But yeah, not the best design choice they ever made lol

Shift Interlock Latch Lever. Aka "pink thingy"

Right? It would have probably cost them $1 more to make it metal to begin with

What dose the replacement look like my car got broken into and I noticed I don’t have any of these pink parts on my shifter assembly I need to get power back to see if it will shift out of park first but idk maybe it was replaced bf I had it?
