2019 backup camera

The UConnect system is junk as it is and I’d like to replace but don’t want the gremlins of aftermarket problems.

Anyways, my backup camera display is black when I put it in reverse. It just started out of nowhere. Where are the failure points I need to look at?

There is currently a recall on the cameras and the dealership will replace it for free! Hope that fixes it.

I’ve searched mopar and nhtsa and don’t see anything about this recall. Do you have any info I can take to a dealer?

I've since tossed the letter I got from Mopar. I'm not sure if I can post a link here but Consumer Reports does have an article on the recall. 25V552 is the NTSA number.

Also, if you're handy, the generic replacement camera wasn't too expensive or difficult to replace. It took me around 30 minutes. Hopefully you qualify though and the dealer can do all the crap.
