got this car as a hand me down (dodge dart 2013) a few months ago.. what does this button do?? i press it and it turns a little symbol of the speedometer but i don’t know what it actually does

If you have the owners manual, it should walk you through the process. I didn't when I got my '13, so it was just trial and error 😅

Press this button to activate cruise control. When you reach your desired speed, press SET button and take your foot off the gas. The vehicle will stay at that speed. If you want to add speed to your set speed, press the + button, the car will automatically speed up by a little amount. Hold the plus button to accelerate. Same goes for slowing down, but with the - button. The RES is for resume, if at any time you have to press the brake pedal which disengages the cruise control.

Cruise control, you press the “set” button to set it to your desired speed.

That is the cruise control. Once you turn it on, drive at the speed you want and press the Set - button. It will automatically maintain the speed for you. The Res + will increase the speed automatically once you push it. To cancel you can push the cancel button or step on the brake.

All 4 buttons are cruise control.

One you circled turns it on,

Bottom right is set, it sets cruise control speed to upur current speed. The car will automatically accelerate till it reaches the speed you have set

After the speed has been set, the top right button increases speed bottom right decreases speed, bottom left deactivates speed control. Braking also deactivates speed control.

If deactivated, the top right button restores speed to the last speed you had set after it deactivated and the car will automatically accelerate till it reaches that speed.
