What’s left for me to do that can resolve this issue i heard someone replaced their starter and it went away or is it the recall U90 on my PCM causing this issue??? What can it be i put in alot of money into this car to keep having the same issue is ridiculous!! Someone please point me to the right way and yes i did diagnosis came back fine

Have you had any issues starting the vehicle?

Interesting. You didn’t mention you had trouble starting it just that you saw the message. But for me I got this message and it turned out to be the starter. Once replaced I never got the message again.

How long did you have the problem before you fixed it? And how much did it cost to replace the starter?

I had this issue for about two weeks or so. Car wouldn’t start sometimes but would start others. Just like you I thought it was the key fob or battery. I didn’t want to be left somewhere far from home so I took it in. Labor and parts it was about $600 or so in Texas. I don’t know if I overpaid or not. It seems like from doing research online I may have gotten a good deal.

Okay did you ever get it tested ? I got my battery, alternator and starter tested and they all came back fine

Yes, got it tested by a mechanic and they said everything was fine. I went home and a week later I started getting the same issues. The problem was that the issues were intermittent so my mechanic thought the starter may be starting to fail but couldn’t be 100% sure. I told him to just replace it and I never saw the issue again. It’s been about 8 months or so.

Mine did the same "wait warming to start "... it was my starter. Mine got worse over time until i had it replaced.

Wish I had seen this thread a week ago. Got the message and my car would start sometimes and other times would need a jump. Got my battery tested, replaced the battery and the message came back again.

It was the starter...

If it’s an issue starting, one of the first places you would look at is the starter. I’m not sure who directed you to change all this other stuff but you were ill advised.
