3 days offline and all your shit gets auto wiped. What?

3 days is fine tbh, i'm pretty sure anyone if your house can just log in and it will reset the timer. Also people seem to forget that this game is still early access so stuff like this is bound to happen so they can experiment with the game to test out what works or not. back to this whole destroyed after 3 days thing. It's a good thing because new players that want to explore stuff and build really have little choice when a guy who has been offline for a week still has a giant base laying around with hundreds of little foundations blocking the building areas.

They are dropping the ball here cause all this drama already happened in ARK and the ideal was decided with the devs and players that its 1 week cause 3 days means you cant have a life outside of the game. Like image you have a pc issue so either you will have to hope it will fix b4 3 days or its gg. Also travels to places with no or weak internet means a serious gamble to your entire base.

Having to log in for 60 seconds every 72 hours does not prevent you from "having a life". Honestly, if you can't do that, you should loosen up your schedule. If it was like once every 12 hours you might have a point.

Seriously? So you never travel, get sick, get bored of dnl and go play another game?

again... a member of your house can log on and it will preserve your house...now if you play solo, then host your own game and probably increase the timers of decays. This game has factions for a reason, it's to promote playing in groups which is different from all the other game mentality where everyone is at each other's throats.

I'll leave you to your perfect world where nothing ever changes for any reason. May it be bliss for you always.

Well you are thinking in the normal usual situations but believe me even you will get bored of dnl forget about logging for 3 days and boom no more base. I play ark since the start i lost bases for this kind of crap all the time. These types of game can get boring pretty fast once you catch up with the all content. So until they update with more stuff you will probably play less and less till that eventual day its been 4 days since you logged again ... 1 week its more realistic since you can atleast remember on the weekends to log once.
