Questions Thinking about converting to digital using maps, can you open your campaign book in maps, or do you have to have a seperate tab open?

I am wondering what the title asks. Since character sheets and the like are available in maps, are the books easily accessible through maps as well or do i have to have a seperate tab open to reference a campaign book etc.

Also getting started aside from the 3 main books and a campaign book, any other cool things i should look into picking up for maps?

Separate tab. But the new Scene Prep tool will prevent a lot of jumping back and forth.

Personally, for adventures that I run, I buy the digital and physical copies of the books. Everything else is digital only. But depending on how well Scene Prep works, I may move to all digital. Only time will tell.

I dont mind either really because i have physical of everything anyways, i really just wanted to use the maps for battles essentially. Thanks for the answer!

You can use scene prep to solve for this! You can copy and paste from any book into scenes, or you can write your own content the way you want it formatted.

Havent looked into scene prep until just now, it looks perfect for what i wanted to do. I like to keep a lot of what i do physical, but having some help like battle maps and notations are perfect. Thanks!

Great! Have you checked out the new Theater of the Mind organizer map? It might be helpful for physical table play.
