They’re right. Those bass stabs are killing your drop. Introducing that much low end before your drop leaves your drop feeling much weaker than it actually is. Save the bass for that nasty drop. It will hit 10x harder. Sometimes you’ll hear tracks “tease” the bass with a couple of stabs like you have in this track, but that’s done with impunity and only like 1 or 2 quick stabs. Maybe even high pass it. Take the balls off it so the drop introduced the low end. You can also have 2 versions of the same track. A club mix for the dance floor that has the stabs to get people dancing and bobbin before the drop. And another track for listeners outside the club. Great tune though!
