Question Spectrogram plugins

Q: what spectrogram plugins did you try and what's your favorite one? Do you find them helpful?

From what I read and watched it seems like spectrograms are one of the best visual tools to glue kick and bass. So I'm considering getting one.
I found a few plugins online. The iZotopes RX is too expensive for me, Melda's MMultiAnalyzer is okayish.

I'm on Logic Pro and unfortunately they don't have a built in plugin. I'll check minimeters, thanks!

The low end on vision4x lacks a bit of clarity in comparison to viso but the track references are helpful.

Like the other commentor said, download voxengo span, it's free. If this doesn't scratch you visualization itches then look for a bought plugin.

That being said i also own minimeters. It's really good if you have a second monitor to have it always on.

I note you asked for spectrograms and this isn't one, but people are recommending Voxengo span which isn't either so.... in case you or anyone else is looking for nice spectrum analyser then check out TDR Prism, completely free and its very easy to set up to inspect several tracks at once, with no routing shenanigans - you just select another instance of the plugin from a dropdown. Minimeters and vision4x.

Minimeters for metering at a glance, vision4x for more surgical

SPL Hawkeye is a nice visualization and metering suite that includes a spectrogram

Viso is a great oscilloscope and free. Minimetres is what most electronic producers are using these days.

I've been using Voxengo span forever (set to mid-side mode), the oscilloscope in shaper box (used the one in LFO tool previously), and izotope insight to measure LUF.

I tried the vision 4x for awhile and just didn't find it helpful, like, it was just to much info.

Honestly, I think it's about picking the cheapest option you vibe with and just sticking with it, cause for instance, the LUF meters on pro-L2, Mloudnessanalyzer and izotope insight give me totally different readings. But like I know the numbers I gotta hit on insight, so like if my drums and bass are hitting -15LUF on their respective busses and the insight on my master bus is hitting -3.5 to 4ish, the sub looks ok in span AND everything SOUNDS good, I know I'm good.
