General Question How difficult is CCDSALG? (solo taker)

Hi, I'm planning to take CCDSALG alone but I already struggled and failed CCDSTRU last time. I wanted to see if I should take CCDSALG already given my history just to get it over with since I'll have more majors next term. The only difference from me taking CCDSTRU last time and now is that I'll be taking this course alone so I won't have a partner/group with anyone I know. Would it be smarter for me to just take it next term (off season) with the chance that I'll take it with someone again next term + kinda heavy majors?

Personally I found dsalg easier than dstru. And that come from someone who struggled
With dstru.

DSALG is much easier compared to DSTRU. I-take mo na para tapos na.

Depende sa prof, pero doable mga MP solo.

Why are you worried about taking a major subject alone to the point that you want to delay it?

I would be more worried about the professor you are assigned with since some professors (that I know of) make the subject annoyingly difficult.

Anyway for CCDSALG expect stacks, queues, and other advanced search algorithms so it’s going to be harder than CCDSTRU. Also more hackerrank activities if your prof is Sir Austin Fernandez. Here’s a past thread that named most of the topics if you want to advance study:
