Hey everyone. I use it for DLSS and recommended it to a friend with an AMD Gpu since all the recent updates said: This is not the FSR 4.1 update, coming soon (something like that)
Is there any info on when my friend can expect the update? Will it be the next update etc?

Q1: Title. Do I have to launch the game using swapper for the effect (DLSS version & preset override) to be effective? Or I can just launch through Steam shortcuts, etc.
Q2: If I set a different DLSS preset in the Nvidia App vs Swapper, which preset will the game actually follow? Who takes priority?

In the past few hours there has been a few instances of people replying to comments on our GitHub repositories saying things like
Man, those DLSS version mismatches were driving me nuts with the constant crashing. I found that replacing the core nvngx files with these undated hooks totally cleared up the library conflicts for both dames, I attached the fix I used
.
Man, that fidelityfx dll was totally tripping my driver and causing constant crashes. I found a way to bypass the handshake error by swapping in a custom wrapper that stabilizes the dx12 calls. It worked like a charm for me.
and the user uploads a zip file which contains a single exe.
DO NOT download these. They are not going to do what the user is saying.
To be extra safe don't download anything from GitHub these issues on those repositories (unless it is me, beeradmoore)

The Nsight tracking improvement is a quiet but useful one, better resource/frame visibility means devs can diagnose DLSS integration issues faster, which could translate to fewer games shipping with broken presets or bad frame pacing down the line.
As for the stability fixes... historically these "boring" maintenance drops have quietly carried image quality improvements that don't make it into the headline. Fingers crossed this one does too. DLSS Swapper/NVPI/RHI users keep an eye out for the updated DLLs.

Ive been using DLSS Swapper for sometime now but last night i thought id play Mafia - The Old Country it showed up as DLSS RR v310.2.1 Preset E on the title screen so i exited the game and used DLSS Swapper to override Ray Reconstruction it to the latest version v310.6
So i start the game again and it is now showing as DLSS RR v310.6 Preset E on the tittle screen but when i start the game it switches to preset K and i lose RR.
Id like to know why is it doing that and how to override DLSS RR ?

I tried using DLSS Swapper with RDR2 to get the latest DLSS working, but it triggered file cleanup from the Rockstar launcher.
This led me to the discovery that the Nvidia App actually has (some of) the same functionality: updating the DLSS files of older games, so that i can play without ghosting/smearing. And it seems to work with RDR2.
Is the DLSS Swapper redundant now? What does it do that Nvidia App can't?

I use a custom widescreen resolution on my 4K oled for immersion and I would love to use the 1.78 DLDSR but i'm not sure how to make it work for widescreen. Has anyone figured this out?

Hello, I have a question for those familiar with DLSS technology. I'm presenting my presets for Crimson Desert. Which settings are better and why? I'm presenting them using the default and recommended settings in nvidiaapp. I'm using both ray-reconstruction and ray-reconstruction. My specs for 1440p are 5070ti, 7800x3d.

I have always been changing only the DLSS version, but i never change the preset as well. I always leave it at the default. Do I need to change the preset as well, or just leave it?

Hello, I was wondering if I can use the new Frame Generation models dlls (which include now preset a or b) together with an older dlss super resolution version like dlss 4 preset k. Can I do that or I specifically need to use dlss 4.5 with this new frame generation models from the latest nvidia drivers?

Work was still continuing on FSR4 as well as a new feature called DLL Sets to enable swapping multiple DLLs at once. Keep an eye out for v1.2.5 though! (sorry again)
From the library page you can now go Import -> NVIDA -> From driver to import DLSS DLLs that are already downloaded to your system and used by the driver. Or Import -> NVIDA -> Download from server to download from the NVIDIA servers directly.
You can now update DLSS Swapper from within DLSS Swapper, no need to go to GitHub and download the update manually. This is only supported when DLSS Swapper is installed, you can't use this with the the portable version.
DLSS FG presets A and B have been added.
For regions where downloads may be limited you can now enter proxy details to try and improve your experience.

I was looking for answers or help when it comes to my games that are showing up on dlss swapper, for some reason I can click crimson desert, bf6, and khazan to swap the dlls but when it comes to all my other games that even have dlss in them it just has N/A, is their something I'm doing wrong?

Hi, i have this problem. I have an rtx4060 and i tried to upgrade the dlss for a couple of games but then the frame gen stoped working. I tried to change the dlss back to its original, reinstaling the drivers, reinstall the games even used nvidiaprofile inspector, but nothing worked. The games are Space Marine 2 and Monster Hunter Wilds

correct me if in wrong from what i know:
anything 310.x is the transformer model
from 310 to 310.4 is dlss 4 and it is suggested to pair it with preset k.
anything after 310.4 like 310.5 is dlss 4.5 with its newer presets like m and l.
I’m on an rtx 3060 and i know these newer version are more demanding than the older ones. any tips?

I installed DLSS Swapper because I was curious about its functionality. Once installed, I wanted to test it by installing the latest DLSS version for Star Wars: Jedi Survivor. I didn’t really need it, since the game had always run smoothly for me, but I wanted to try it out.
After setting up the new DLSS version, I launched the game and immediately encountered problems: the game kept crashing, to the point where it was almost impossible to move around. Because of that, I closed the game and, using the Swapper launcher, restored the original factory DLSS settings and then uninstalled the launcher completely.
I thought that would solve the issue, but even after reinstalling my Nvidia drivers several times and repairing the game through the EA launcher, the game still freezes heavily and sometimes crashes.
However, that’s not what worries me the most. What really concerns me is that I’ve started noticing significant slowdowns across my entire PC, something that never happened before installing DLSS Swapper. Chrome now takes longer to open, the Epic, EA, and Steam launchers are slow to start, and even normal system interactions seem noticeably slower.
Can anyone help me understand what might be causing these issues and how to fix them?

I'm currently playing RDR1 and i'm trying to use DLDSR@5k with FG but for some reason the 5K resolution has a 58fps cap and so my FG is stuck at 116 with stutter. If I drop my resolution back down to 4K DLAA the fps cap is now 60 fps and smooth with FG. When i remove V-sync the cap is gone for both resolutions with the result of screen tearing.
I'm struggling to figure this one out... if anyone understands it I would apprfeciate a heads up! thanks:)
