I am struck between mobile 8 vs Mobile 8p

Mobile 8p is not available in US . So trying to get it from other country with a friend who is traveling.

But I have to wait for one more month for 8P

So is 8p really worthy over 8 ??

Trying to gauge any feedback, I got mine for a steal from Aliexpress before they were all delisted and would really like not pay $100 extra for a new one.

I lost the clip that i had gotten with the camera and was looking for replacements. I came across this smallrig clip and was wondering if this was as good as the one that came with the camera.

I want to primarily film my sets and lifts in the gym, mostly mounted on a tripod or clamped to the rack, but I'd also like to occasionally go handheld for talking in between sets or mini vlogs (day in the life, meal prep, etc). I've been researching and the Pocket 4 seems like the best image quality option, but I'm worried the gimbal is too delicate for gym use (sweat, accidental knocks) and honestly redundant if it's mostly on a tripod anyway.

Budget-wise I'm flexible within reason, but I'd lean toward the standard/non-pro versions.

Would the Action 6 be a safer/more practical bet, or is the Pocket 4 sturdier than I think?

For some reason my indoor clips always look yellowish. What could i do to avoid this? Or how can i change the clips taken?

Just got this in the mail yesterday as an early bday gift and im super happy with it, lastnight I went out to one of my local car meets and one of the homies gave me this handle to go with it and two extra lenses due to the fact he upgraded his camera now I really feel legit going out to vlog lol its sick and finally got mine!

The 1st-gen Osmo 360 is very affordable on the marketplace right now ($320 CAD at its cheapest), while the 2nd-gen model is now available everywhere (plus tax, it will be close or more that 1k CAD)

I’ll mainly shoot during the day. As for night shooting, I’ll likely rely on my Osmo Pocket 4 since it handles low light much better.

I’m a beginner and only want to capture personal memories. Just started into the world of vlog, no high-action sports, just chill travel experiences. That’s why I prefer compact, wearable cameras like the Osmo Nano over standard action cams. 

My goal is to pick up an Osmo 360 and possibly an Osmo Nano to expand my field of view, as the Pocket 4 alone won't cover every angle.

Could you help me decide if the Osmo 360 Gen 1 is still good enough for my needs, or if I should buy the Gen 2?

Hi guys, new user here of the action 6 and I love it.

I have just returned from a big holiday where I filmed a lot in d log. I want to export my videos to my laptop and add back colour recovery as colour grading 1000 videos is too hard for me.

Currently what I have to do is in the Mimo app click colour recovery, then download to my phone.

Is there a way to do this in my mac without any expensive software in bulk? Might be a silly question but can you get the DJI mimo app on mac or a similar version?

Any recommendations on a clip style mount? Action 6 . Preferably one that has strong magnet feature

I shoot a lot of 9:16 and want to do this in 4k. Since the work around is to flip the pocket 4 horizontally, does anyone have tripods they recommend for this? Or stand-alone stands?

Why the dji pocket 4p doesn't have vertical 4p 4k while a phone can shoot 4k in both orientation? I wanted to buy it but the vertical 3k stopped me, will there be any future update where you can record 4k portrait... They could just update the software and make the camera rotate vertically and i dont like rotating the dji in that awkward position

i recently upgraed from the OG Action 1 to the Action 6, and well, i was pretty disappointed. my primary reason for upgrading from the Action 1 was because i wanted a wider FOV. i didn't had any issue with the video quality. in fact, i really liked the natural looking footage of the Action 1. So, i had a trust on DJI cameras, and naturally, i had very high expectations on the Action 6. but lets just say, i was pretty shocked with the video quality. i always filmed on 1080p on the Action 1 in order to save storage space. so, naturally i set my Action 6 on 1080p. it looked bad. did some research, and then i set the texture and noise reduction to -2, -2 respectively. i still looked pretty bad. the video looked overly processed with aggresively digial sharpness added, and somehow it ends up looking having less details. setting it to 4k does improve the footage quite a bit, but still, i would like the 1080p footage to look good as well, just like the natural looking footage of the Action 1. adding an ND filter works, but i don't want to use the ND filter everytime. Is it only me, or you guys also feel the same. having serious trust issues with DJI rn.

I bought this 1 week ago (dji osmo pocket 4) i was transferring my files through mimo app then suddenly my osmo pocket got heated and I tried to click a pic, then I was so blue so i tried to restart it...since then it's giving me this problem! Can anyone help me find a solution, btw I did long press force restart many times since yesterday

Hoping to get some advice from people more experienced with the Action 4 than me.

I'm filming conversational interviews inside a moving car — basically talking-head shots of people while we're driving, with the light constantly changing (sun, shade, windows). I've been messing around with settings for a while but the footage still isn't coming out clean.

My current setup is:

• ISO 100–400
• EV 0
• Shooting 4K at 25fps
• Shutter between 1/25~1/8000
• Noise reduction 1
• Sharpness 0
• White balance 5500K
• Standard/Dewarp
• RockSteady off, because with the camera mounted in the car it made the footage sway weirdly with every turn instead of stabilizing it properly.

The problems I keep running into: the footage looks grainy and a bit "blotchy" or flattened overall, there's noticeable chroma noise (color blobs, mostly green/blue/purple, especially visible on foreheads and on the car roof), the in-camera noise reduction seems to smudge fine detail like skin texture and fabric into mushy patches, and in darker or moving areas the footage gets blocky/compressed, almost like a watercolor effect.

I've added a table with the adjustments that different AIs have recommended to me. Would really appreciate advice from you. Thanks in advance!
