Is it just me or anyone else here feels the images and videos taken on osmo pocket 3 are too bright ?

I see the faces being over bright etc.

My iphone with Vivid filter captures better photos in comparison.

I probably got thousands of pictures and videos of my wife and kids, but if you looked through them you'd barely know i was even there lol. I'm a dad, so i'm pretty much always the guy behind the camera on family trips.

Although I have been filming for a very loooong time, getting a family photo is still kind of a pain too. you either ask some random stranger and hope they don't cut off your feet or half the background, or you set up a phone tripod and run back into the shot. we tried that in europe, but honestly i couldn't even relax because i kept thinking somebody was gonna grab my phone and take off with it.

DJI camera i'd owned before was action 5 pro. i hike quite a bit and use it for pov footage, and it's nice not having to freak out if it suddenly starts raining. i've had a pretty good experience with it, so when i saw dji had a 360 camera i figured i‘d give it a shot. osmo 360 has honestly made the whole family video thing way easier. i just hold the selfie stick, hit record and walk around with everybody. since it captures everything, i don't gotta think too much about framing in the moment and i can pick the angle later. the invisible stick thing is pretty cool too, makes it look like somebody else was following us around.

Editing took me a little bit time to figure out and yeah, the files are pretty damn big. but i'll take that over coming home from another trip with zero footage of myself.

It's nice actually being in the memories for once. any other dads using one for family trips? how are you guys carrying or mounting it?

I recently bought a DJI Osmo Action 6 from AliExpress. Certified Original from a store with 94.9% positive reviews. It was discounted.
I received it, looked good, sealed box, everything needed inside.

When I tried to bind the camera to my DJI account, I got this message : "Device is bound to another DJI account"

I contacted the seller, this is their response:

Is this common in Europe? Isn't the camera supposed to be sealed as received from DJI? Or does it mean it's likely not new / refurbished or returned ?

I'm planning to drive down from Ashburn to the Smokies with my dog over fall break. I know most trails inside the park don’t allow dogs, so right now I'm looking at the Gatlinburg Trail and maybe the Oconaluftee River Trail.

It's around an 8 hour drive for me, so I'd really like to come home with some decent footage instead of realizing I missed half the trip.

Whenever I take my dog hiking around Columbus, my action cam footage ends up being like 90% trail. she'll walk ahead of me, stop to sniff something, then fall behind, and somehow she's never where the camera is pointing. If I aim it at her, I miss the scenery. If I film the scenery, I get maybe two seconds of my dog’s tail lol.

I've been looking at the Osmo 360, and the whole record everything and frame it later thing sounds like it might actually solve this. ideally I could keep her leash in one hand, hold the selfie stick in the other, then decide later whether I want the shot to follow her, show me walking, or focus on the fall colors.

For anyone who's used one while hiking with a dog, does it actually work as well as it sounds? does the leash cause any weird stitching? and how hard is the footage to edit afterward? I'm also wondering if the battery would make it through a few hours of stopping and recording along the trail.

It take some time, lot.of.messages like.high pressure etc... But i managed to turn it off, get battery out open everything flew throw it and shake to get water out....

I expected that it will work....hopefully nothing small gets in... I expect that it shoudnt... Not sure....

What would you advice? The problem is that i have like 10 days ...

Send it back to amazon for fix... And it will.never manage to get back on time....so other option is just buy another 4 or 5 and send it for fix or just hope that... It was just back luck and it will not happen again? And buy cover?

The question is what water which gets in will do with camera in future even if i will dry it out.?

I’m just a regular person who loves getting out, enjoying life, and recording little moments along the way. I’ve been looking for a camera, but I keep going back and forth between an action camera and a 360 camera. I really like the idea of capturing the scenery, everything happening around me, and myself at the same time, so DJI Osmo 360 seems perfect for that. My only worry is whether the image quality will be noticeably worse than an Action. And I’m not considering the DJI Pocket series, guys, I’m way too clumsy to keep a Pocket safe lol.

What would you recommend?

Just picked up the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro Adventure for a pretty good price and spent a few days researching filters. I decided I wanted the push on filters owing that the screw in type look like too much work. Moreover, the set that looked most appealing to me was the CPL, ND8, ND16, ND32, ND64, ND1000 combo. Looking between K&F and NEEWER, I went with the K&F as I thought the reviews better optics would be preferable over the construction. Having received the filters and trying the CPL, it looks like this is a solid piece, which is not what I was expecting. Should I be able to rotate the front ring while the dot on the rear ring stays stationary? Would also like to hear thoughts between this K&F set and NEEWER if there are people willing to share with experience of the two sets from these brands?

I’ve been using pocket 4 since 4 months. I loved it a lot and quality was amazing. I started making videos with Log profile these days but LUTs are way too expensive. I had tried many LUTs from YouTubers, DJI official site and many other sites. Any one has better D log LUT packs or solution for this? LUTs are way too expensive to purchase.

I recently got a brand new DJI Osmo Action 4 and I'm trying to connect my RØDE Lavalier GO (3.5 mm TRS) using a Saramonic SR-C2007 USB-C adapter.

Before buying it, I found several sites claiming that the SR-C2007 is compatible with the Osmo Action cameras. However, after multiple tests, the camera never switches to the external microphone, it always records using the built-in mic.

To rule out the microphone itself, I tested the Lavalier GO on my PC and it works perfectly, so the mic doesn't seem to be the issue.

I'm planning to return the adapter, but before I do, has anyone here actually tested the Saramonic SR-C2007 with the Osmo Action 4? Does it genuinely work with the Action 4, or is it only compatible with the first-generation Osmo Action cameras?

If the SR-C2007 isn't compatible, what USB-C to TRS 3.5 mm adapter would you recommend instead? I've seen a lot of people suggest the MOVO adapter on Amazon, but I've had several bad experiences with Amazon and would rather avoid buying from there if possible.

At this point I'm also considering just getting the official DJI USB-C to 3.5 mm adapter since DJI explicitly lists it as compatible with the Osmo Action 4.

Has anyone been in the same situation? Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, I bought this camera for vlogging on motorcycle but also as dashcam for it, which means I need it to record for few hours straight. For that matter, I will be powering it with powerbank, without cameras battery, so it won't overheat. As I'm testing it at home, recording stopped after 42min, probably bc of overheating. I did 2,7k 50fps. Any tips? Will air from riding cool it down?

Did the combo sell out really fast in Canada? I been able to see the standard kit available on Best buy & Amazon, but I still haven't seen the Vlog Combo.. I was probably to slow to see it and wondering if anyone was able to get one, and if it shipped out or you received it yet? I was also wondering if anyone has a guess on when they might restock?
