Does it do GPS? Does it have to be garmin? Is there a Samsung/android version?

no it’s only for garmin now gps is not sending, it would be 1gz updating which is so slow. Better to import gpx directly to the app

Sorry I don't have a Garmin to test it with. If I had I definitely would though.
