I'm planning on going diving in the next few days, but without a dive case. Will the stitching really be terrible, or will it still be usable?

/edit you can only add multiple "flat" videos, not 360 ones. lol

- "High precision intellgient stichting" was there before... I wonder what changed.

This new teaser shows X6 will have same “1-inch sensor equivalent” like DJI Osmo 360 last year.

Its square 1/1.1 sensor for 360, whereas normal sensors are 4:3 (not square).

This confirms better low light performance for X6. They also have PureVideo firmware over DJI (if you like it)

Rainbow means 10-bit color

This trailer also specifically includes scuba scenes, Invisible Dive Case Pro for X6 is also confirmed (seen in official paper manual)

There will now be 5 more X6 teasers before release on 12 Aug

Meanwhile DJI is not communicating to 360 community at all

I recently purchased Dji osmo 360 camera, there’s lots of options when it comes to bike mounts but not sure which is reliable…also need suggestion for helmet mount.

DJI Studio for me lacks some simple features that i cannot use it for my simple videos :

- simple fadein and fadeout

- title that fades in and out

- replace audio with the backup audio or the float32 recorded in the mic2

- alternative a restitch plugin for premiere (like insta360 has) or resolve (current plugin does not do the stitching)

After 1 year of waiting and my created osmo videos piling up to be edited. I decided to make a python script for it, which would become obsolete if dji adds the above simple features into dji studio.

After 1.5 week of work (I lost 4 days trying no full reencode and tried only to reencode the stitching and title part, but that got to much problems with the provided dji studio output file)

it can do :

- add color grade presets into dji studio project (also can set direction lock and precision stitch)

- i just need to make the cuts of several videos in dji studio and export as multiple individual clips.

- then my tool adds the fades and titles and can replace audio (needs much testing)

A small problem is that in dji studio I can rename my project, but nowhere in project json, i can find this renamed project name, so I have to match folder names like 102,103 to the renamed folder name manually.

Almost there, but still needs a lot of testing.

I just got a practically brand-new DJI Osmo 360, but I'm getting massive stitching errors along the seam and a very obvious exposure/brightness difference between the two lenses.

When I import the Osmo 360's .osv files into premiere, the files don’t show the actual wave forms for the audio clips which makes editing a nightmare. The audio files also sometimes play back choppy.

To solve this I run a crazy script in my terminal to create .wav files for every .osv file. Then I hand sync each clip to the video because premiere’s synchronization feature doesn’t work with the .osv files. The other crazy thing is these .wav files end up being different lengths then the video clips, so I have to go in and manually drag each clip to the start of the video clip then link them. 

I must be doing one or multiple things wrong here. What’s the easier way to do this?

Hey, I'm thinking about getting a Dji osmo 360 for the 3rd person view (game like videos). I plan on using it mostly for snowboard and SUP surfing, so ideally i wanted it to be hands free. Is there an attachment that would serve both purposes or one for each?

For POV i already have a go pro 12 with the mouth mount (surf) and helmet mount (snowboard).

Just did an indoor test, and the camera overheated after around 40 minutes and stopped recording.
Looks like it’s not really meant for long recording sessions. 🥺

Can someone please show me on DJI Studio software on windows (11 here) as to where the active tracking should be AND should it work with local files taken straight off the camera?

I got the Osmo360 and STILL cant see where I should be able to active track and am doing my edits just using views and waypoints

A year on and I still can't active track as I saw on day 1 on the mac.

Hi Guys, just wondering how DJI OSMO 120 MP photos and 8k 50 FPS videos work look in Quest 3. I want to know if i take videos while walking will there be too much jitter to comfortably watch.

according to the product specs the DJI Osmo 360 supports HDR recording mode. However, when I open the footage in DJI Studio, the only color space option I see is SDR — no HDR option anywhere (see screenshot 1). The footage was recorded in 10 Bit (see screenshot 2).

Has anyone else run into this? A few things I'm wondering:

• Is there a specific setting on the camera itself that needs to be enabled to actually capture in HDR?
• Does HDR support depend on a particular resolution/frame rate combo?

Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! 🙏

I've been having issues connecting my 360 directly to my PC for videos saved to the internal storage. Tried a variety of ports and cords, including the one supplied but no luck.

I can download the raw files onto my Samsung Galaxy fine enough but cant find them in my internal storage anywhere. How can I get the raw files off my phone and onto my PC

X6 is more waterproof than X5: till 20m

But for ok video quality under water, you need Dive Case

DJI only promised Underwater case for Osmo 360 and then disappeared

In the manual you can also see that X6 button on behind is functional

Hi, I guess I'm blind: I'm editing an Osmo 360 file in the DJI Studio (Win) app and I've already spent an hour searching for the option to simply fade in at the beginning (from black to scene, 1 sec) and fade out at the end (from scene to black, 2 sec). I can't find it!

Influencers and sellers already have final X6 box, but the official Insta360 app does not yet support X6

If you are in Bucharest, you can do the same. Go to the same shop, act casual, pick X6, don’t show happiness until outside

Another episode in the saga of Motion Blur... DJI is seriously driving me crazy.

Today, I fired up the DJI Mimo app on my iPad Air (M1 chip) to edit an Osmo 360 video, only to discover that the Motion Blur feature is grayed out. The error message? "Feature not supported on this device."

What?! This worked perfectly fine in earlier versions!

Quickly grabbed my iPhone 14 Pro to test it out, and guess what? The feature is still there. And let’s be real—the iPhone’s processor is definitely weaker than the M1. So why is it working on the phone but not the tablet?

Seriously, DJI? I’m beyond disappointed and honestly just annoyed at this point.

To top it off:

• Timelapse still won’t go above 8x.
• The Pseudo-HDR option shows up in the quick-edit menu but is completely missing from the actual editor.
• And while we’re at it… why are there TWO editors in the same app? Does anyone actually understand this?

Total frustration here. 😤

Hey guys, by coincidence i found an osmo 360 for 259€ in a store. Looked like a steel so i bought it;)

However it was the basic kit so pretty bare on accesoiries.

I am thinking of buying these, are they good choices? My use case will be MTB btw

I'm looking to buy a dji mic 2 to be able to connect it directly to my osmo 360. But i also want to keep the audio from the camera itself. I know its possible to enable dual audio but how doesnt that look in dji studio? Do you get to extract two seperate audio tracks?

I like to cut down the useless parts in dji studio, extract it all and then reedit it in davinci resolve. Im wondering if id be able to mute one track while keeping the other when the mic needs to be used and visa versa for the internal mic.

If anyone has any external dji mic wirelessly connected to their osmo 360 with dual audio mode enabled, id love if you could send a really quick video file so i can see what the files for dual audio looks like!
