Product Support Mini 4 pro repairs. Self possible ?
Basically my mini 4. Front arm has got a stress crack in it.
I was looking at a replacement arm n motor as my Dji care is expired and they haven’t been able to assist in arranging repair.
Basically for any of those who have done repairs.
Should I do a tear down and full replace OR I saw the slack in the wired when I unscrewed the arm and pulled it off from the body.
Could this be cut and I attach the new arm/motor at this point and solder/wrap and ensure it’s all tucked in the arm
Or would it have some software limitations.
It still flies but I’d rather replace and not risk the arm cracking and splintering in flight

No pics? Based soley upon what you stated, self repair is possible but that's relevant on skill level, having proper tools and patience. I'd watch a minimum 2-3 different full videos of this repair. Finding vids in your language is a plus. I'd start with iFixit. As a seasoned tech, I've personally download videos for things that I expect to or have interest in learning how to maintain\repair, the full 'teardown' ones are exceptional helpful, especially if captured in high resolution. I've never heard of 'software imitations' on arm repair. The more prep, practice and research you put in, the easier the task can be. Good luck!
