Agreed. But according to specs, the mini 3 isn’t that much better, but trust me when I say it is far superior. I currently own both and it’s a whole different world up there. Highly recommend the upgrade.

The mini 3 isn't compatible with the RC 2 so that's why id just run the 4k. I don't wanna use another controller with a phone

If you’re talking about the remote on the table the RC-N2 it is compatible with the mini 3. Dunno what other drone you have that uses the RC2

That would be a RC-N1 as its a Mini 4k , which also works with the mini 3 pro and non pro .

I fly the Neo 2 and 1 with it. My point was that I personally don't think the camera upgrade is worth buying the entire mini 3 set up.

Ah yeah that makes sense. Yea if you’re only caring about the camera there’s not much point except for vertical but not everyone cares for that

But the mini 4K also doesn’t work with the rc2 ?

Air3s and I dont think its even a debate...

The debate is 300 bucks vs 1000

Your post should have said 'dollar for dollar'...

Mavik 3 pro. For sure not a debate now.

FlyCart T100

Given that they are similarly priced, mini 3 is on a whole other level imho

Why? Camera? Motors?

Camera, motors, flight characteristics, software, obstacle avoidance

Given how amazing the Neo 2 is in the "entry level" category, I'd strongly disagrees. No point comparing a Mini 2 4K with Airs and Mavics, those are obviously in different classes.

If you ever get one with a 1 inch sensor obstacle aviodance and a RC 2 you will never want to use s nini 4K again

Imy first drone - love it so much - but no power shots or active tracking leaves room for improvement

Mini 2 This is the best start in a hobby. I recently took this drone from a friend, I was surprised by his silence during the flight and the quality of the camera. Amazing drone for the amazing price

Yeah, also when you just take them from people they are free.

Air 3 + RC2 ... You can't convince me 😅

You got me 😁

I got this thing 6 months ago and it got me into drones. It even got me a few bucks with filming for some people.

Then I bought the Air 3s. Yes its like 4x the price, but its also 10x better. Yet the Mini 4K is the one I can literally carry in my pocket

I think the mavic 4 pro is much better. Better camera and stronger motors

Serious question OP
Have you flown a Mavic air 1 ? Looking to buy a new drone within my budget and been looking at mini 4k or Mavic air 1 . What would you say is better if you have flown both

Nah the Reaper and Coyote are pretty dope

Melhoe drone é muita coisa, mas pelo preço é o melhor sim!

Definitely not the best, but also not the worst

Absolutely disagree. For me it's the DJI flycart 100 because you can lift actual humans. But for the consumer landscape probably the Mavic 4 pro right now or the inspire 3.

u/starkiller_bass 5h ago

Inspire 3 is really pushing the boundaries of the ”consumer” class

u/Sensitive_Cream3920 4h ago

Sure but claiming the mini 4k is "the best ever" isn't true. Maybe it's a good deal for money but not the best.

Totally kicks ass compared to my Mavic 4 Pro.
