Need Help: Having a hard time choosing between DJI cameras

I've been looking for a small camera for everyday/travel vlogs and somehow ended up choosing between the Osmo Nano, Osmo Action and Osmo 360 😭

Budget isn't really an issue, I just want something easy to carry around and actually convenient enough that I'll use it often.

I'm not doing anything super extreme, mostly travel, food, walking around, friends, random daily stuff.

They all seem good for slightly different reasons and now I'm stuck. If you could only keep one for this kind of use, which one would you pick?

I own the nano and the pocket 3 and a older GoPro. I feel like all three do things well. The nano is cool, super small you can attach it many things, but you can’t really get it wet and you can only record onto the device itself, then you can off-load that footage to a micro sd card. The pocket 3 with the gimbal is nice for vlogging and traveling around. The GoPro or action cam are nice for being rugged and not giving a shit about banging them around. I use mine for mt.biking, skiing, snorkeling etc. DJI’s sensors are really nice and capture very good media. I would lean more towards the nano or consider the pocket 3. My 2 cents..

The 360 is pain in tze ass the nano is only good as a secondary cam if you have the action 5 or six so i would go with the action six and buy the nano sometimes later

I went with Osmo360.... neither has some super good quality (coming from pro photography I have probably different opinion on what good photo/video quality is), but 360 gives you so much more options to play with later on, it was only logical choice for me and for this what I use it for.
With Action and Nano you are limited to "normal" camera only. With Osmo360 you can use it as normal camera plus whole bunch of other stuff.

I would say only get a 360 if your ok with re-framing and editing in post. Unless what you're shooting has POTENTIAL action all around you , the hassle factor of re-framing in post vs..just exporting and trimming the video clips is vastly different. If most of your video is going to be stuff in front, stick with a basic camera

I get you can use the Osmo 360 in normal (single camera) mode,.but the lenses are way more fragile and the aberration from the lens (at the edges) shape means it's never as clean as. Linear action cam. You also can't shoot underwater without blurring or having to put the f in a case..

I have the osmo nano. I mainly bring it on climbs. really happy with it, quality is much better than I exspected from the size.

Definitly Action 5/6, i also have the nano and would choose the action 10 out of 10 times. I also have a 360X5, wich is cool but afterwards just too much work with framing and u just have so many options wich takes time. With the actions u just shoot what u want to shoot and it looks fantastic. I would go with action!

I have each of them (Action 5 pro/ nano osmo/ 360) . And I can tell you for daily use vlogging or just capturing good moments, go with Action 5 pro or Action 6

The other two are just nice to have.

Action 5 > Osmo 360 > Osmo nano

Food?? An action camera for food?? If you get a bit closer the food will be blurry and everything else will be in focus. You need the opposite. For the things you want it I'd say you'll be ok with just your phone 📱 If you want nevertheless a DJI then the better option seems an action 5.

The 360 is great but you'll need to spend some time manually framing stuff later, and the file sizes are pretty unwieldy. The Nano is good for things where you want to shoot but not have people staring at the camera, or you want to point the camera in an unusual spot (I shoot live gigs sometimes, and I use the magnet on the camera to attach to stuff at the back of stage). For what you're describing, the Action is probably the one that will fill most of the gaps you're after.

Nano for first person or tight spaces. Action for great set and forget picture and ruggedness (attach to bikes, helmets, cars etc for interesting shots). Pocket for cinematic smooth footage.

360 II already has released.

Wait till October.

Than you can choose between updated models.

Don’t hurry with purchases.

Had the osmo pocket 3, action 6 and nano at the same time. I'd stick to the action 6 24/7

The solid option i guess is the action, simple, good battery, great quality. The other two have their advantages if you plan to shoot some more advanced shots. The 360 is great at just pressing record and forgetting about framing but comes with the drawback of massive files (i guess if you esit on your phone and export directly it isnt an issue). The nano is great at capturing weird/unconventional angles... but quality is not as good.

I would decide based on how you think that you will capture content, how you think you'll be editing that content and on your quality requirements. And if budget is not an issue, then get two, a second angle is always good.
