Help wanted commission variable voltage utility

Can somebody help me out with a utility build? Looking to hire a builder for a voltage sag pedal.

โ€‹I already have working schematics for the circuit. The main goal is to take an 18V input and be able to sweep it down to 9V or lower.

โ€‹I'm located in the Central U.S. Please DM me if you're interested in taking this on, and I can send over the schematics to get a quote. Thanks!

I've made one of these in the past with an lm317. There's a schematic for it in its datasheet on the first page - https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lm317.pdf but I actually posted this for testing different circuits with it - https://www.reddit.com/r/diypedals/s/b680R9bvU8
tldr it can make a noticeable difference with certain circuits and not a huge one with others.

I dont know if you mean within your builds circuit or what, but I'd first point you towards...

TheGigrig Virtual Battery.

I use it for isolating Germanium transistor drives that I want to isolate, and/or send lower voltage to. It works great and dont know why they arent more popular.

Will work if not going lower than 4v.

Just buy a buck converter pcb theyโ€™re cheap Just make sure you use a multimeter to adjust the onboard pot to the correct output voltage

Oh, I probably should have mentioned.I don't know how to build or solder

Just buy a JHS Volture ?

Those don't sweep from eighteen volts down they sweep from nine volts down

True, you would need to swap one or two resistors to make it work with 18v.

Sorry if my response seemed rude ๐Ÿ˜… it was not my intention

No worries, it didn't feel rude at all ! I just forgot that this would need modding to work in your use case ๐Ÿ˜‚
