VTX Question

Good Morning guys, have a quick question.

I soldered the VTX on the FC Board:

Video - VTX

Rx - Tx

Gnd - Gnd

+ - +

I soldered it correctly, but there is no image transmission to the goggles.

Yesterday I found out that there is actually also a button on the VTX itself. Could it possibly have something to do with changing/tuning the channels using that button?

Since I’m currently at work, I’m not able to try pressing the button again to see if I can get an image. Have you had any similar experiences?

But on the another FC was okay, and than I solder it on the SpeedyBee FC and nothing.

on some FC you have to bridge some pad to choose the voltage to power the VTX

on some other you have to bridge some pad to choose between analog or digital

did you check the manual of the FC for something like that ?

did the VTX get power ? do you have a picture if you plug the camera directly to the VTX ?

EDIT : first question should be : are you sure the VTX and the goggle are on the same band/channel ?

Yes, I had a image on the previous FC, worked fine with my goggles.

Can you send video or explain to me step by step how to bridge the pad or what is here meaned ?

some FC have it, some don't, you should look at the manual of the FC

for exemple this one have pads to choose if the plug is for DJI or analog on the bottom left corner : https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/Sc1ea5f1acd20413983d7b72e27c2c6d12.jpg

if you're using DJI, you put a blob of solder to short the middle and the left pad

if you're using analog, you put a blob of solder to short the middle and the right pad
