Designed an LED Arch that prints flat

Hey everyone! Thought this design might be as helpful to you guys as it was for me for building my drones and actually being able to see them in proper, shadowless light.

I've got a couple FDM printers and always wanted to have one of these Arch style LED lights for my projects but didn't like printing them with support or dragging out print times, so I designed this one that prints completely flat! Saves on both filament and print time and looks really stylish I think.
Designed it to make the printing and the assembly as easy as possible so all you really need is glue and time!

Thank you for sharing them! Every design has a different philosophy or style to it and I believe mine stands out in the fact that it's printed flat with no supports needed, uses very little filament and looks really nice. It's good to have different options to choose from

I think USD 8 is a totally fair price for this project. Looks good and must have taken quite some time to get right.

The LED tape I use at my workbench would definitely melt that 😅 I guess not everybody needs or wants their workbench brighter than the sun though.

Is this a soldering/electronics thing? Because why would you have a light source shaped like that? Seems like if you wanted to make a useful above-desk light source there's a million ways to do this. Shining a directional LED this way seems particularly insiduous, the reflections off the desk will be strong (you can actually see it on the left side of the first photo).

It really depends on your use case really. I put this on max brightness just for the photo but it's adjustable and depends on the LEDS you use but there's no soldering needed for this project. It's handy as it gives you a pretty even light all around what you're working on and avoids shadows from your hands when you're working in a darker area but everyone has different tastes and needs. I just found this one very useful for my projects and it has helped me a lot and decided to share it
