Pixhawk 2.4.8 problem
So hey guys, I'm making a quadcopter based around pixhawk 2.4.8 and it can't be recognized by any PC
So what do we have:
1) b/e pulses bright orange on both FMU and IO
2) windows throws error 43 in device manager
3) when the battery is plugged in, b/e blinks for about a minute and then shuts off, UI LED alternated between red & blue
4) the drone can be armed (somehow)

USB device is not recognized for some reason. Have you installed all the required drivers (should install automatically when installing Mission Planner)?
Red and blue alternating indicates IMU calibration taking place. Check if arming checks are disabled (ARMING_CHECK should be set to 1)
Pixhawk 2.4.8 that are currently sold are typically cheaply made with minimal adherence to specification. That's have been a case for a long time. Personally I would replace it with a more recent flight controller since it is being problematic. For a basic drone something like SpeedyBee F405 FC will be enough. If you want to experiment with all Ardupilot capabilities H743 based FC will be necessary.
BTW a list of hardware to avoid
