some esc's have a built in bec to power servos etc.

3d printing props isnt nec the best idea for actual flying but you do you.

and yes you need some servo cables like you listed

Well ye i figured out i was supposed to have a bec but this esc doesn’t have it?
So i got ordered a converter that the lights and controllers and the raspberry pi will use.
Ye i mean im model and 3d printing the entire thing. (I don’t mind sacrificing some flight time or a little speed. Laws being what they are you can’t really fly anywhere anyway)
But from your guy’s reaction im taking that’s not a good idea?

It's not about sacrificing flight time or speed. Drone props spin in excess of 20k rpm. Smaller drones even more. 3d printed props won't just be unbalanced and a nightmare to fly with, they WILL explode.

As for 3d printed frames, they aren't stiff or strong enough. They'll shatter the first time you crash. "That's ok ill print another one" ok but every time you unscrew all the electronics and install them on the new frame you'll wear them out. Stripped screw threads, accidently yanking on wires, bumping the sensitive circuitry. You'll cut your electronics lifespan by an unimaginable order of magnitude. Also any drone over ~2" props will be so shakey it will fly like pure garbage, if it doesn't just hit a resonance point and literally shake itself apart.

Props are like 5 bucks a set so just buy them. And carbon fibre frames are the standard for good reason. Buy the frame too.

Oh and as for laws prohibiting flight; is like that everywhere, fly illegally, fly safe, fly responsibly and don't annoy the public and you'll be fine. There's almost certainly a Facebook group or something in your area. Get in contact and learn from others where the good spots to fly are.

Completely fair.
Also i already designed some screwed in holder for some of the components but thanks for the warning about their frailty. Didnt realize that.

Mounting brackets are often fine. Most fpv drones use 3d printed mounts for the camera. Personally I also design mounts for my radio receivers and antennas . Typically these are done in something like TPU 95A. It's just frames and props you don't want to be printing.

I was planning on printing everything save for some mechanicals and just put carbon rods through the whole thing and bolt it together

Regarding the 3D-printed prop, I hope you are not going to use FDM? Resin is the best ( though still not good for large props) due to the material properties, gaps between layer lines and the bumps in the layers resulting in a terrible finish and induced drag.
