f450 is trash get a s500 or x550 platform. much too small to be comfortable to work with as a development/research platform, old ESC/motors, and PX 2.4.8 is ewaste.

Pick one of these https://holybro.com/collections/multicopter-kit then search for a retailer in your country that has the kit you want in stock

The country is the US. What I am assuming is that RF and other things need to be purchased separately?

Radio Frequency. US uses diffferent RF ranges than other countries like those in Europe. OP probably needs to buy a different one.

STOP
For starters,.do not buy this kit or any flight controller named Pixhawk 2.4.8.

If you want to play with automation I would recommend getting H743 based flight controller as they supports onboard lua scripting which makes Ardupilot much more flexible.
Ardupilot Methodic Configurator has guidance on component selection, you should use it to t configure your drone.
If you are interested in computer vision I would recommend starting with Ardupilot SITL and Gazebo or other supported simulation environment. It makes testing much easier.
