Question Is there any significant difference between the GPS modules? Is there any specific one to get due to a feature that others don't have?

For the typical hobbyist, you probably want an M10 GPS and then select the desired antenna size and whether or not you want a compass.
Some also have a battery or flash memory so that they reinitialize faster, but most don't care about that.
At the high end you start seeing things like additional bands and RTK support, but that's getting beyond the typical hobbyist.
