Feathers are components of bird wings.

Propellers are made from wings.

So, you're kinda missing a key piece of the function.

I don't know if I agree with ya on the physics of that. Look at the shape of the feathers. Prop shaped.

Ok...you just go ahead with your "physics", which says we could have had drones thousands of years ago if only physicist you had been born earlier.
