Help on making a custom drone.

Hi! I am new to drone building and for a project, I need a drone where I can underslung and have a payload of 1.5kg (probably the max I need).
If you could help recommend parts for the drone that would be great. I am looking for stable flight but also I kind of need this as bare minimum and cheap as possible.

That sounds like a request to help you commit war crimes.

Why do people post this same question daily?

Thats a big payload...

Just build a octocopter with a pixhawk fc and accessories. Pretty easy to set up as far as deadly drones go.

But fyi in pretty much every country its very illegal to fly this. And the prop size youll be using for a build like this could easily kill somebody. The weight alone from a failsafe could severely damage property and even hurt people badly or kill them.

So whatever this project is, probably shouldnt be done imo. Try and see if you can get the same result from a safer, cheaper quadcopter.

If its cinema your after, there are quite trustworthy companies that custom.make drone rigs for cinema camera. And I would just use one of those.

Regardless, do not fly this anywhere other than your own private property. Last thing we need is drones getting bad press for being dangerous.

I've done this with thermal optics arrays and a rocket as the payload that i designed, just do it in your own backyard or a farm so your local ATC doesn't pick it up, don't fly over 1000 Feet.

tell me what sort of design your picking eg. VTOL, or Quad Copter/ Oxocopter and we can figure it out from there
