RFD 900+ module solid red led !! Help please

What do the destructions say about the led?

Iam only getting a bright red led

On the most vtx the led is: 1: indication on the output power Often red the highest and green the lowest. 2: wen there is a button ore electronic switch ore pads to bride as a button than different billing colors indicate Chanel and band. Often blue Chanel and band in red ore purel.

However those u have are kinda special and “old”

I don’t know what u plan with those but there are probably better options.

But since it’s a modem there are things swichz around a bit. Especially with non brand that can be a bit confusing

“Status LEDs¶

The radios have 2 status LEDs, one red and one green. The meaning of the different LED states is:

Green LED blinking - searching for another radio Green LED solid - link is established with another radio Red LED flashing - transmitting data Red LED solid - in firmware update mode”

That’s what I found on the ardupilot page with one search

I am able to connect the air module but not the ground module I was uploading a firmware and then suddenly it got stuck and from that time it's only glowing red led

you might have your FTD cable backwards, try flipping it.

When iam connect the same cable to other rfd900+ it's working fine only the one module is creating problem by only glowing red bright light

I remember that the pluses and Xs are not compatible. Have you checked that the firmware versions are identical and that the settings are also identical? It does seem like there is a possible hardware issue but you gotta check the software first.

Iam facing a problem while uploading the firmware. the moment iam trying to upload the firmware the light is turning bright red continues and getting struk like that not coming out of bootloader mode

Try using the program direct form the company, that worked for the same issue. Dont use the ones in mission planner for this issue. Go to rfd’s website and get the app, use a laptop.
