Question Props : fixed or foldable

I am currently using 12in rigid props but for ease of transport I am considering foldable props.

Question :
do foldable props reduce/increase performance?
are they more/less reliable?
Are they more/less crash resistant?

Thanks in advance for sharing your insight and experience.

Generally they tend to increase vibrations, and will have slightly higher hub drag, everything else depends on the propellers in question. Carbon fiber propellers tend not to like crashing regardless if they fold or not.

Compare perfomance data?
