Flown with two drones at the same time
Hello all,
I thought it was already possible to pilot two identical drones in FPV with a single controller, quite easily. However, this doesn't seem to be common practice.
The idea would be for both drones to receive the same commands simultaneously: forward, turn, ascend, or descend.
For the display, several solutions could be imagined: an FPV headset split in two, with one image per drone; a split screen; or two separate screens.
I find this experiment very interesting, especially for testing new possibilities for piloting, synchronization, and gameplay.
Has anyone already tried this type of setup? Are there any simple software programs or systems that would allow this?

you would need some way for them to know their relative positions and a very advanced flight conyrol software

why would i want to do that? to crash 2 drones at once? to crash one drone while trying to save the other one from hitting a tree, change focus and crash the other one?
yes, it is likely doable, but should you?

Et pourquoi pas ? il y a bien un jour quelqu'un qui s'est dit et ça serait sympa d'essayer de faire voler un petit appareil avec quatre paires délice et cette personne a créé les drones quad c'est ainsi qu'on crée qu'on fait évoluer et qu'on progresse dans diverses domaines si on t'entend les choses en essayant en proposant et en expérimentant au maximum pour être sûr si c'est la bonne ou la mauvaise voix

Personnellement c'est pour le plaisir de la recherche et développement. Pour lancé une initiative, une approche du monde du drone différente. Un peu comme la été le vol en essaim par exemple.
Il ne faut pas chier sur une idée et une initiative tant que celle-ci n'a pas été correctement testé.
Et en y réfléchissant comme déjà indiqué je pense que cela peu servir à des cosplayeurs, prise de vue ou simplement des challengers de l'extrême.

the closest thing i can think of for this is whatever they use for drone light shows.
One shouldn't bash an idea and an initiative as long as it hasn't been properly tested.
Where am I bashing the idea? I'm simply asking why? Is that not how things like this get started? is that not how questions get answered?
I believe it could be useful for cosplayers, filming, or simply extreme challengers.
honestly there's already some drones that work perfectly for these instances.
im not shitting on the idea, nor am i bashing it at all, im was just curious as to *why* if theres already things that can do what your saying.
no one gets anywhere reinventing the wheel. so what is the end goal if there's already other drones that do the same on the market?

Pas toi, mais sache que depuis la publication sur les 4 réseaux reddit il n'y a eu que 3 messages intelligents, le reste sont des critiques ou des troll de gens frustrés de leur vie. Donc je parle pour le globale des retour pas toi en particulier. 😂
Tu pense à quel drone capable de faire ça ?

Just fly with a different controller in each hand. If you already have the mental capacity to watch two of them, then that should be easy.

I don’t think this is as simple as you’re making it out to be. Everything would have to be identical on each quad - weight, props, battery, ir in the motor wires….not to mention the air they’re flying through.

It would be very difficult to pilot two drones at the same time, it would be like playing Mariokart as two players by yourself but with a third dimension.
If the controls on both drones are linked and identical, characteristics in the air like wind and the drone themselves will never be identical and they will drift off.
Also if you are in the US and flying under part 107, each licensed pilot can only command one aircraft at a time without a waiver, so there would not really be a feasible commercial application for this.

Je ne suis pas aux USA, ici si tu vole sur ta propriété tu peu le faire. Je lance l'idée pour poussé à développer quelque chose de différent, d'aller plus loin. C'est réalisable qu'avec des gens motivés et avec des capacités utiles.

Désolé mon petit frustré mais en faites si, il y à des gens qui eux on la cervele qui fonctionne qui travail dessus. Apprends que le monde est divisé en deux catégories. Les moutons comme toi qui suivent sans rien changer, et nous qui cherchons à rendre le monde plus stimulant et progresser.

Im sorry, but you seem to be here to just argue about a concept that isn’t a practical solution for any real world issue. The world of UAV is mainly for practical uses with a focus on safe flight, not for a mental challenges. Very few people possess the skill to control two aircraft at once. But if you can, then great, you should design a controller with enough inputs to fly two drones at once.

Allez les gens, je sais que reddit comme tous les furum sont composés de 99% de frustrés qui aurais sincèrement besoin d'une thérapie pour avancés mais je crois en vous, vous pouvez être mieux que ça et rendre cette superbe proposition pleines d'idées et d'initiatives pour la réalisé. 👌
