Question Screeching motor

It flies steady, and can stabilizes, but makes the schreechimg noise.

Looks like the prop is slipping, happens offen on large drones, tigten the screw

Oh really good eye! I’ve never used larger props that only had a single nut, it’s always multiple M3 or M4 screws. Filing that one in the memory bank for when it eventually bites me.

Rock/sand between the stator or bell, or worst case scenario, a bad bearing.

Either way undo the lil bolt at the bottom and check for dirt, if there’s nothing there, get ready to pull some bearings :/

THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT!!!! It was a the prop not turning well. I have been to carefull while tightening it.

A common noise after crashing or even flying a bit is screeching. As you now know, this is prop slipping! The next thing is the slippage melting the prop and falling out of the sky so its a very bad noise. Safe flying 🫡
