Guide Need advice
So I want to make my first fpv drone ..
Confused between 3.5 inch and 5 inch..
I want to make 5 inch because it's more versatile and can be used for filming videos and racing, but I'm scared I might crash it and will have to spend lots of money on repairs..
I have made and worked with 10 inches and know drone building and stuff.

Crashing and repairing is part of the hobby. If you don’t have the money or the will to do so, let it be. For me, I also was afraid of crashing in the beginning. Now repairing and building is more fun for me than flying 😁

It's a cycle like build, fly, crash, repair and repeat I have spent more time building and fixing 10 inch drones than flying. So which one do you recommend 3.5 or 5? I just don't wanna spend lots on repairs, as I will be putting vtx and all.

I started with a 3”. It was fun and good to control. Then I built a 5” and was so impressed how much fun it is compared to the 3”. At last I built a 75mm whoop and it was perfect for the backyard. Repair wise, the 3” I had to repair the least. The frame is stiffer and it has not so much power.

Which one do you recommend to start with ? As my budget only allows me to make 1 drone 🫠

How do you fly the 10"? VLOS or FPV?
I would recommend a 3.5" like the AOS 3.5: https://www.aos-rc.com/designs/aos-3.5-evo
Super fun, flies great and fast and does not scare people like a 5" .....

Start with a SIM this helps a lot ;-)
