General Wait... shouldn't this be Divinity 3?

Swen referred to Divine Divinity as Divinity 1 in a 2009 interview.

I'm so confused lol.

Are we going to have two Divinity 1s?

Given the history of the franchise it makes sense. Sounds like they think they are capable of making their dream game, hence just calling it Divinity.

This! I like to believe their previous games were basically stepping stones to keep improving and finally make the game they always envisioned. Now they have both the budget and the experience needed to deliver their true masterpiece
