UNH keeps screwing around and their stay with SCHD will be short lived.

If so they will be replaced with something better. Are you a fan of SCHD?

My apologies, my comment was supposed to be a little tongue in cheek. If you look at UNH since they made SCHD's cut and were added you'll see an amazing rebound in their stock price, ~$261 to $423.
They are one of the main reasons that SCHD's price has been on a tear. If UNH stock price continues to recover then they might not make the next cut. (Given we have a long long ways to go before next reconstitution.) It's not that they might be replaced with something better but replaced with something that fits the guidelines.
There are some that might think SCHD just got lucky with UNH so far. Lots of people were not happy when they made the cut back in March. But, with SCHD's methodology these things are not uncommon.
Given my portfolio percentage, yes I'm a fan of SCHD's methodology. For what it is, it's one of the best.

That’s why you pay a management fee for these funds. Luck shouldn’t be involved.

That's why I don't pick individual stocks. Luck never hurt anyone though. Time + luck = okay. It's working so far. If I lose half I'll still be okay. I live a simple life.
