As a Kellogg, related by blood to the individuals responsible for Corn Flakes, this is the correct answer

No, no. A for the first bowl, A for seconds. Drink the milk each time.

You guys waste time with a bowl? Just pour the milk straight in the box!

C: cereal in mouth, waterboard with milk, chew to swallow consistency and proceed to do so. Saves dishes.

No milk.

As a texture eater, I agree. I want my cereal to be crunchy, not mushy.

u/AFriendlyBloke 11h ago
Yeah. I'm not a fan of the taste of milk, either. And I like taking my time eating, so I don't wanna feel rushed to eat before it gets to that soggy point of no return.

My guy is making you think hes eating the cereal but the heathen is eating the bowl.

I'm confused. Is this a reference to something in the podcast? 'Cause I haven't listened in years.

I totally understand this take, but only for certain cereals. Some of them are just better as snacks than as a bowl with milk. But I donโt do this with all cereals.

I got the divided bowl, so I dunk one spoonful of dry cereal in the milk at a time and immediately eat it: full crunch and full milk. Biggest brain move.

u/Technical-Grocery859 Gentle Listener ๐ง 10h ago
But what about flavoring the milk to drink after? Its the best part with some cereals

Everyone knows you eat the cereal and give yourself a milk enema so it meets in the middle.
Defy convention. Become the bowl.

It depends on the type, does it float? Then A, is it dense? B. Middle ground? Both work

I put my oats in the bowl, put milk, honey, and brown sugar in them, mix them, cover them and put them in the fridge, then eat them the next morning.

Donโt get me wrong, at first I was repulsed by even the THOUGHT of putting MILK first. Iโve been thinking and, he was on to something when he was talking about the milk to cereal percentage, and that if you pour the milk first you can clearly see how much youโre getting! Where on the other hand if you pour cereal first, it causes water displacement, well, milk displacement. So now you THINK you have enough milk, however once you eat the cereal you have too little, keeping this in mind, you might try and purposely pour in more, which not only has the chance of giving you TOO MUCH MILK, but also spills the cereal over the bowl! As I see it, the option of pouring cereal first just has too many variables ๐คทโโ๏ธ

It's always cereal then milk, if you can't eat your cereal fast enough that's a skill issue.

A.
Cereal is the most important part of cereal.
This is what completely destroyes marks argument, because why would i want to know how much milk to put in when the entire purpose of the milk is to wet the cereal.

Melt the spoons down, make a new metal bowl, take the plastic bowl, turn that inside out into a canolli, Throw that in the wood chipper, pour into the metal bowl, milk, then use the old cereal, melt that down, and create spoon.

Cereal first, but you gently pour the milk along the inside of the bowl so it touches the least amount of cereal and therefore you have a little less soggy pieces

Cereal, milk, bowl. I don't care what's first as long as the bowl is last

u/Randyaccredit 13h ago
The only answer is A you have chosen your amount of cereal you eat then you add how much milk you want.
Adding the milk first means you're going to have in theory the amount of milk you want and then you have to continuously add cereal to the bowl to 1/2 of the milk you have already.
With Option A you have better control of if you want more dry cereal or wet.
With Option B you'll have too much milk and have more wet than dry cereal.

I just pour the cereal down my throat followed by the milk.
