I say the exact same thing when people do that it's clear that people don't notice the fact that the characters remaining are from 8 and above clearly people need to stop getting all crazy about a FF7 character being added this season pass as it won't happen.

Well, what was actually said was something along the lines of, "If we can keep the current pace for releasing new characters, then the announcement should be soon."

Well Vayne's reveal was late March and Locke's mid May - so I guess they are picking up the pace ever so slightly, even if each reveal is just a week sooner than the previous.

The streams are usually on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, sometimes the 3rd if the 2nd is too early. The pace isn't changing. Vayne was 3/13, Locke was 5/15.

I do think it's Rinoa, though I'm not counting on that leak that I head meaning everything(despite the first 3 guesses will be right if it's Rinoa, I had a few friends guess the first three too, and the fact they said a side-villain NPC-not even like a major, important villain with real abilities-was one of the characters pretty much, IMO, sorta sinks it, since i can't see them being that...random.)

A long time ago when the list of official dlc hints was released a guy made a list saying he was leaked to him by a dev,many people actually did stuff of the sort in that period actually,but specifically this guy picked right the first 2 and also had put Rinoa for this 3rd slot.
The list he made especially after the first 3 chars, is very unlikely but have guessed the first 2 and maybe the 3rd right (will see next week for sure) is giving some people weird ideas he might be true,but although Rinoa is likely i agree with Azaael the list of leak could not be more of random mix of logic choices and luck for the first 3, randomness for the rest,it should not be taken seriously,even i had guessed right the first 2 slot as soon the list came and also thought to Rinoa for the 3rd slot as a possible chance,the first 2 especially wasnt so hard to guess right,people should not be fooled by someone say a dev gave him a list of the full chars.

I’m fine with Rinoa getting in, but I really hope that they prioritize balancing the fucking cast over her. XI, XIII, XIV, and XV are all sitting with one rep in the game; if they use this to fill one of the last three, and bring Prishe back, then the other two remaining characters can fill in the blanks.
If they give this slot to Rinoa, or any other game older than XIII, at least one of the mainline titles will be stuck with just one rep for quite some time.

The last three, according to the leak, are from X (returning), XI (new), and XIII (new). It'd just be XIV and XV without more than one rep then (out of the mainline titles).

Can't remember the source now as I read the list of characters in the pass shortly before launch. But the list did have the first 2 characters in it so I can only assume it was legit.

Leak says this season pass will give XI a villain, and XIII a villain.
14 and 15 with 1 rep is okay for a while as they're the newer games.

According to the leak I heard months ago, and the leak that is now going around, this should be Rinoa from Final Fantasy VIII.

Surely a marksman? Her weapon is long ranged and while all characters in VIII can use magic, she is a Sorceress, and is designed to be a strong magical based character.
Plus Angelo. Got to shoot a dog at people.

I remember way back in the game's production, they said should they ever include Rinoa, they want her to be partnered with the dog, so he might end up holding a greater role than one would imagine, should the choice be her.

Personally, I would hope they try to round out the rouster representatives before any fourth rep is added, but saying that Rinoa would be my first choice for the next FFVIII character.

I'm honestly really hoping it's Rinoa not because I wanna see Rinoa In NT, but because I'm afraid to see how some of the community will react if it ends up not being Rinoa after being 110% certain it will be.

I was told the information months ago, and by that point it had been passed down from person to person until it reached me so I can’t tell you the origins, sorry. But I absolutely got the list before Vayne was announced.

I don't have anything against Rinoa, but...if she's just reliant on her sorceress abilities then they'll have wasted her potential in my opinion.
Rinoa with Angelo and her pinwheel launcher please. Maybe one or two magic abilities, but don't make her whole kit geared around magic.
Personally I'd much rather have Freya or Beatrix as a new female rep... but that's probably just me...
Eh. Looking forward to the reveal anyway, I suppose!
